The National Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, and fosters leadership skills.
The Beta Club is open to students in grades 10-12 with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. A $30 membership fee is required to cover a National Beta Club membership and graduation cord.

Tri-M Music Honor Society offers students performance opportunities, leadership positions, and the opportunity to serve the community through music.
Tri-M Music Honor Society is the only national honor society for student musicians in the country and is a great way to brighten college applications.
Tri-M Music Honor Society is open to candidates who meet the national membership criteria: 1) Music Participation, 2) Academic Achievement, 3) Leadership, 4) Service, and 5) Character.
There is a required $30 fee for the Tri-M Music Honor Society. This cost covers national membership (including a membership card and membership certificate), graduation medallion, and graduation cord.

The Perquimans County High School Science Club
was organized to provide year round opportunities for students to explore science
throughout the year. Activities geared to science exploration, recycling, extended
projects, science nights, field trips and cooperative
learning with PCS will be conducted.

Creative Writing ClubMembers can present a piece of creative writing they wrote or enjoyed reading, give feedback and advice on other members' writing, publish the best creative works in a student created magazine on their student webpage or hard copy at the end of the year.

Are you interested in learning more about the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures? Join the Spanish Club!
The Spanish Club is an environment where those who have a passion for Spanish-speaking culture can get together and participate in different activities. This club is student-led, providing students with the chance to develop their leadership skills. By joining the Spanish Club, you can celebrate Hispanic holidays, learn about different customs, music and art of Spanish-speaking countries.
Some of the Spanish Club's activities include:
● Day of the Dead Celebration: Learn about how Mexicans recognize and celebrate death. Give presentations and display an altar in memory of the dead.
● Creative Writing Contests: Share your creativity by writing in Spanish.● Spanish Film Festivals: Watch movies from Latin America and Spain.
