PCAPP is finalizing an application under systemization for the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program.
A total of 21 teams (110 employees) consisting of an owner, mentor, subject matter expert and VPP point of contact, met criteria in six categories:
• Management leadership and Employee involvement• Worksite analysis• Hazard prevention and control• Safety and health training• VPP community support• Organizational goals

PCD workers recently placed a passive carbon filter vent on the igloo that will eventually serve as the container storage unit for PCAPP EDS.

Komada LLC, construction contractor for PCAPP EDS, deployed their construction trailer to the site on Feb. 11, 2014. A week later the unit had been joined and leveled, awaiting only the power, which was connected Feb. 21, making the unit ready for occupancy.
