Teacher Expectations• Embrace PBIS! Tier 1- Universal Expectations• Teach expectations-first 2 weeks of school, revisit once a month-using Time To Teach program• (28 times to create a new habit)• Set monthly Turtle goal & incentive- make PBIS bulletin board to showcase upcoming incentives.• Give “Turtles” to other classes• Reward your students by giving Turtle Tokens when students are meeting expectations.• Allow students to use tokens to take advantage of individual incentives as they wish.• Follow tier procedures for office referral- when student enters Tier 2include Mrs.Romeo, counselor, in

meeting. School Academic Achievement

• This years (2013-2014) reading ,math and science scores increased significantly from last years (2013-2013)

• Breakdown- Reading (from 56.13 to 67.58) Math (from 57.43 to 65.04 ) Science (from 57.4 to 64.7)

• Overall, proficiencies place Tuttle #5 in Catawba County out of all 17 elementary schools. High growth and meeting AYP were met for 2013-2014 school year

• In the 2012-2013 there was an anticipated drop in proficiency due to new curriculum and assessments
