A Note from Pastor Phillips:

Thank you for coming to worship with us today. If you are a first-time visitor, I would sure like the opportunity to meet you and wel-come you personally. Because I believe in a Sovereign God, I don’t believe anything happens by chance. I believe you were brought here today for a purpose. I would love to help you discover that purpose, and to see if there is any way we as a church can bless and minister to you and your family. PARADE OF MINISTRIES: We will hold a Parade of Ministries in the Sunday School hallways Sunday, January 21, 2018. All minis-tries are welcome to participate. You must sign up at the Welcome Center TODAY to participate. We will provide a table for each ministry that signs up for the event.

THANK YOU: To all who donated food, money and gifts, and to those who volunteered to organize and deliver holiday food and gifts, we offer a big “Thank you” in the name of our Lord. You made the holidays brighter for many.

TAX STATEMENTS: If your mailing address changed last year, please be sure that the office has your current address, so that your 2017 giving record reaches you quickly.

GRIEFSHARE: The GriefShare ministry will resume meeting tomorrow evening, January 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jr. Church area.

DOOR PROGRAMMING CHANGES: In an effort to keep our chil-dren and worshippers safe, the Security Team has requested that we tighten up the schedule of doors being unlocked. Effective Sun-day, February 4, the following changes will take place:

Main Door (by church office): Sunday - unlocked ONLY 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday - unlocked ONLY 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Preschool Door: Sunday - unlocked ONLY 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Kitchen Door: Sunday - NOT UNLOCKED AT ALL

Aside from these changes, the door locking program will follow the current schedule. If you exit the building and cannot reenter via one of these doors, please use the bank of main doors at the lobby to reenter the building. Thank you for your cooperation & under-standing.

We also share devotions, quilting ideas & techniques, mission projects, road trips and each others’ company! Serving the Homeless

PVBC is preparing and serving a community meal for the Paris Foundation in Elkton, MD on Monday, January, 29, 2018 at 4:00 pm. Prayers, volunteers and donations for the meal are welcome. Contact Robin Eng-land at (443) 693-2529 for more information.
