Year 2 search purposefully on websites picked by teacher and the internet is not always true

ONLINE COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION

Reception learn that family and friends can be contacted online

Year 1 learn that other people can be contacted online

Year 2 learn difference between email and discussion forums

All classes experience sending and receiving emails

Closely linked to PSHE – knowing right from wrong, bullying

ONLINE PUBLISHING

Reception learn pictures and information can be shared on school website

Year 1 learn that others’ work should be respected

Year 2 learn information can be shared in other online document space
