Super-Model Integration


Patran 2011SuperModel Integration into Core Patran

• Many of SuperModels capabilities have already been incorporated into core Patran. This effort simply completes that effort.

• Brings useful capabilities into Patran without having to develop them from scratch

• New core capabilities are preference specific and integrated into standard menus

• An Icon Ribbon already exists

• No changes show up if Patran is opened with –ifile init_sm.pcl - synchronize

• Supported on all platforms

working with Very Large Models.• Capable of processing files that

Begin transition to current nCode DTLib Library with:

• Spot-Weld improvements – FKM Mean Stress Corrections

• Seam-Weld improvements – Volvo Method (force) – Weld Root & Weld Throat Failure Predictions

• Seam-Weld improvements – Interpolation between “stiff” and “flexible” S/N Curves

• Enhanced Duty-Cycle AnalysisTo access the DTLIB algorithms you need to set the Fatigue env variable: FAT_USE_DTLIB=YES The default is no.
