Located in Mexico City’s financial and education district of Santa Fe, Gran Patio’s nine stories have been developed on 4 hectares featuring big and junior box retail tenants (e.g. Walmart, Sam’s Club, Home Depot), 108 retail shops and 25 food and beverage concepts.

If you believe in the long-term value of connective and targeted design in service to your success, we can deliver.

Blending lifestyle and entertainment features, the 2.1 million-square-

foot development is composed of nine stories that include big and

junior box retail tenants like Walmart, Sam’s Club, Home Depot,

and Office Depot, Petco, Sportium Gym, 113 retail shops, 25 food

& beverage offerings, several entertainment venues including a 16

screen movie theater , and a 7,000 m2 glass-covered rooftop park

with amenities that allow strolling, dwelling, dinning and playing.

Additionally, the project has 4 stories of office and educational

tenants. All is supported by nearly 2,800 underground parking

spaces and additional public amenities and functions associated with

supporting the overall development.

The projects goal was to provide the Santa Fe working, residential

and regional community with well integrated, diverse, middle market

retail offerings that fit and work together on this site. Additionally,

the intent was to create a destination that attracts a full spectrum

demographic including high in come, student, local workforce, tourist

and low income patronage.

As individual retailers prepare to collaborate in stacked big box

developments to overcome costs and land shortages, opportunities

arise to rethink relationships among landscapes, infrastructures,

buildings, and programs. While retailers’ standard store templates

are highly guarded and inflexible, design opportunities do lie with

infrastructural considerations.

Gran Patio stands as a proven successful example of an integrated

vertical power center combined with the lifestyle, entertainment and

work environments in an easy to navigate environment.
