My Dear Friends and Partners,

What a day we live in with so many challenges surrounding us in serving The Lord and presenting His

Gospel!! Two of our visiting preachers have been ordered to leave this year from the country for

preaching. If they didn’t they’d have been deported.

We, however, are assured by the Holy Spirit that He is in Control & Guiding and preparing us, His

Bride, for His Return. We are assigned to save as many as we can from perishing while still breathing.

What a privilege & job we have been entrusted by Him Who has gone through the EVENT-the Painful

Cross & Glorious Resurrection-that turned human history!!

Maranatha Pastors’ Fellowship

According to the reports received in recent months from pastors 617 souls got saved, 152 Baptisedin Water, 311 believers received Holy Spirit Baptism, and 348 open air meetings conducted.

Pastor Prabhuseva Gottipati : A woman was diagnosed with breastcancer. The couple worried a lot to undergo the painful process of cancertreatment. The Pastor and the congregation fasted & prayed for the lady.God gave a prophetic word that the sick lady will be cured and the treatmentwas successfully done that the doctors declared her Cancer-free. Doctorswere surprised of this miracle. Now, she is an active member of the Women’smeetings and in the Church activities. Hallelujah!!

Pastor Venkateswara Rao Kondeti : An Eighty-year-old woman tried tocommit suicide due to lack of peace and financial crisis. The Pastor heardthis news thru a neighbour and encouraged her with God’s Word and invitedto attend the church. She was touched by the love of God and acceptedJesus as her saviour. Now she has Divine Peace serving The Lord. PTL!!

Pastor Yesu Ratnam Pilli : An alcoholic husband started to harass his wife forquitting idol worship and accepting Jesus as her saviour. Meanwhile, he got realsick and admitted in a hospital. With the love and care of the lady and also thefaithful prayers of the church God healed him. Then, he accepted Jesus and nowthe family is baptized in water. Glory to God!!

Pastor Anil Kumar’s wife had suffered from severe stomach pain due to Uterusswelling. She did not see any relief even after medication and a doctor advisedher to go for surgery. Pastor Anil Kumar and the congregation prayed for God’sMercy. Later she used some medication and went for diagnosis. The doctor saidthat her uterus was normal and no need to do surgery. She is grateful for God’sintervention in her life. GTG!!

Pastor Krishna Murthy Kunchi : A woman underwent 3 surgeries in orderto get tumours from her stomach removed. This process was costly and evenpainful to bear. Even though the tumours were removed, they have regrownin the same place after a period of time. It caused unbearable pain in herstomach and this time doctors denied to do the surgery because of dangerlies in it. At this juncture Pastor Krishna Murthy conducted 7 weeks of prayersin her house to encourage her in faith. And, God in His Grace & Mercy healedher and the dangerous tumours disappeared gradually. She said to the doctors that Jesus healedher. After thoroughly examining her, Doctors accepted her recovery. PTL!!

Pastor Prabhu Kumar Murari : A woman was barren for Fifteen years aftermarriage. She went to many doctors for treatment and spent lots of money butdidn’t work. One day her neighbour who is a believer of Maranatha Temple @G. Konduru guided her to the church. She shared her need with the pastor andhe prayed in God’s presence. Later she got conceived and birthed a healthygirl as God has blessed the couple. Hallelujah!!

Pastor Prema Manohar Babu Dhake : His wife offered many sacrifices to idolsfor several years to get her husband delivered from the addiction of chronicalcoholism. But, all her devotion & efforts failed. One day Pastor Prema Manoharand his wife visited him and shared the Gospel and prayed.

The power of God has graciously delivered this man from the influence of alcohol.He and his wife have accepted Jesus and are now attending the church. PTL!!

Pastor Ramesh Madakam: One of the church elders met with an accidentduring a bike ride. He suffered a major head and neck injury and was admittedin a hospital. Doctors gave no hope of his survival. Pastor & believers prayedand God in His mercy intervened. He is now doing well. GtG!!

Maranatha Bible Schools - 3

Suguna Challa graduated from our Bible School in 2013 with Bachelorof Theology. She has been enthusiastic about church planting. Ourtraining program helped in her quest for church growth and planting newchurches in an urban area. After graduation, she started focusing onchurch growth in her father’s ministry. Father & daughter as pastors madea notable difference in the city and in three years they started two satellitechurches in different parts of the city. She came to express her gratitudenumber of times to our Bible school and shared how God has beenusing her in the ministry. All our faculty have really been blessed by hertestimony and the work they’re doing for The Lord.

Mounica Annangi, is a child of a single parent along with her brother.She has seen vile things, as a child, as her father has beaten her motherevery day for several years and finally left the family to marry anotherwoman. Her grandparents took them into their home as they couldn’tsurvive on their own. When Mounika fell sick a pastor prayed and ledthe family to Jesus. Mounika, in her teens, heard God’s call for the ministryand chose our Bible School for training. She is now in her 3rd year ofBachelor of Theology. She is praying and preparing herself for churchplanting after her graduation. The faculty are standing with Mounica andanonymously providing for her daily needs, while students are standingby her with prayers. Our dedicated faculty are counselling andencouraging students like Mounica so that they can reach their goal and see themselves as Godwanted them to be.

Syam Sundar Karepu – Syam’s father was a spoiled young manbefore marriage. His acute sickness and inability to pay medical billscaused his family a serious problem. That’s when he was led to Jesus,Who had healed and saved him. God has started chalking out his coursein life and as a result he got married to a godly woman. God called thiscouple to His Ministry. They gave up their work and started a church intheir village. They had no kids and faced all sorts of trouble.Their Faithwas challenged as their relatives made fun of them. They made a vow toGod to give their first child to His ministry. Prayer was answered; Godgave them two boys. They kept their word by turning their oldest boy,Syam, to the Lord’s Work.

Syam’s spiritual hunger to know more about Jesus led him to Maranatha Bible School but he wasrather a rough fellow. The dedicated faculty’s caring & counselling has influenced him to change. Weare training him to fulfil God’s purpose in his life. He is now helping his father in church ministry everyweekend. Isn’t that great!! A sick man’s journey to become a pastor and his son as his successortaking his role as a pastor is dramatic as well as dynamic. That’s what God does in & thru His Chosenvessels. All Glory goes to Him and Him alone.

Angel Potle is one of the two children. She has a younger sister. Herparents are Pastors in a small village. Angel’s father was operated forheart problem. He did well until he had two children. His recurrent heartproblem, however, hindered him to continue in the ministry. He was alsodiagnosed with Diabetes, Kidney failure, and Jaundice which worsenedhis condition.

Angel’s mother took the burden of supporting her family by doing a smalljob. The meagre income, however, couldn’t feed all four mouths; send thekids to school, and husband’s medical expenses. A Pastor in ourFellowship guided her to Maranatha Children Home @ Vijayawada and we took Angel in in July2015. She is in the 4th grade now. Angel’s father died in February 2017. She was consoled andencouraged by the staff that Angel has become bright and normal. All her needs like shelter, food,clothing, schooling, and upkeep expenses, are provided as somebody cares to support this little girl.

Sai Durga Prasad Kandula came from an idol worshipping family. He is the only son to his illiterateparents living on meagre daily wages. A year after Sai was born, his mother, while working in a farm,was bitten by a poisonous snake. She ignored the impending danger and came home to take rest.Her husband came back home to find her unconscious and her skin colour changing. They rushed herto a hospital, but she didn’t make it.

Now Sai became an orphan and was sent to his grandparents, who arepoor living on meagre daily wages. Sai’s grandfather was affected withparalysis. The 70-year-old man was helpless and couldn’t support the boy.The aged couple came to know about Maranatha Children Home @Vijayawada through their relatives and approached us for help and wetook the boy in July 2017. He is now happy as he found a new and a bigfamily. He is in Upper kindergarten now. Sai is a happy little fellow as allhis needs are being provided. Your sponsorship $30 a month for this boywill be appreciated.

Ramyasri Maradani is one of the two children. She has a younger brother.Ramya’s father is a truck driver and mother is a homemaker. Unfortunately,Ramya’s father made an accident that killed an old woman. Their villageelder forced him to pay $1000 (64,000 Rupees, then) as compensation tothe family. This was a big amount for him to pay before the due date. Thevillage elder reprimanded him many times on this issue. The man committedsuicide by hanging himself in his home. The family lost the rice-winnercausing the poor & illiterate widow with kids suffer.

Ramyasri’s mother heard of Maranatha Children Home @ Vijayawadaand asked us to help. We took the widow to work in the kitchen and the two kids into our ChildrenHome. Ramyasri was admitted into fifth grade and in the passing of time did her Diploma andBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering also. She felt happy as her dream to be an engineer wasfulfilled through God’s love she experienced in our Children Home. Thank God for the sponsors of thisministry to kids like Ramyasri!!

Jyothsna Gudavalli came from a poor family and joined in our childrenhome in 2000. Her father was attacked by Hepatitis virus and finally diedof Jaundice. Jyothsna was two and half years at that time. Her motherstarted working but her meagre income wasn’t enough to feed or send thelittle girl to school. The family faced a lot of problems once the earninghand was gone.

Jyothsna’s mother heard about the Maranatha Children Home andrequested to us for help. And we took her in. Jyothsna has grown in ourChildren Home to be a fine young lady and got her Diploma in Electronicswith good scores and got admission into a reputed Engineering College to do Bachelor’s Degree. Sheis grateful for God’s help and Maranatha Children Home.

Maranatha Ashram (Home for Widows & Destitute)

Radhamma Konidina came from a Hindu joint family. She got marriedat an early age to a physically disabled person. Her husband due tostuttering problem felt guilty and depended on his mother until marriageand later on his wife. He never changed his attitude even after becominga father of three children. Radhamma took the burden of the family andworked as a laundry woman by washing clothes from house to house. She

also did a part-time tailoring work @ home to support the family. She was able to do marriages of twodaughters and a son out of her hard labour.

A few years later Radhamma lost her husband but another burden fell on her shoulders. Her sonsuffered from Bone Tuberculosis and died in 2010 leaving his wife and two children behind. Radhammahelped the family out of her savings for few a years. She was not able to do any work due to old age.Her daughters rejected to care for her. Radhamma had very rough & hard life. Where would she gonow? Somebody guided her to Maranatha Ashram @ Vijayawada. We were moved by her conditionand took her in April 2016. She is now on regular medication for joint pains and nervous weakness butliving in peace & joy with all her needs being provided in our Ashram. PTL!!

Chittemma Tanneru’s husband is a farmer. They have done the marriagesfor three daughters. They shared the entire property with their children atthe time of marriages. Chittemma, while living happily, was shocked ofthe sudden death of her husband by heart stroke.

Later, one of her grand daughters took care of her for 12 years. Herdaughters settled in different places and also depending on their children.So, Chittemma came to Maranatha Ashram in February 2016 at the ageof 95 years. She heard the gospel and gave her heart to the Saviour. Sheis very thankful for the charity provided and the pleasant place in MaranathaAshram @ Vijayawada. PTL!!

Sitharavamma Uppalapati came from a Hindu family. Her husband wasa truck driver. They had fulfilled parental duties by doing weddings for twodaughters. Unfortunately one of the daughters died after her marriage.The elderly couple had lived happily in their thatched roofed house forsome years. Later the old man suddenly died of both heart stroke andparalysis at the same time.

Later Sitaravamma came to her daughter’s home for survival. Her son-in-law with a small job had already been in deep debts. She had to sell herhouse to help him pay off the debts but his problems continued to be worse.Sitharavamma was very disturbed and felt she was a burden to them. She became homeless andhelpless. And, she approached Maranatha Ashram and we took this 70-year old woman in. She isnow living happily by leaving her sorrows behind. At present, she gets her regular medication for kneeproblem. She heard the gospel and accepted Jesus as her Saviour. PTL!!
