Trust God!

Psalm 34:1-8

I. The Lord Had Him from His Fears (v.4).

A. "He head me, and delivered me from all my fears."

"I sought the LORD."

"I will bless the LORD at all times

B. David had many reasons to fear.

- 1 Samuel 17:34-36

C. David sought the LORD when he was afraid.

D. God is bigger than our fears.

- Matthew 17:19-21

E. Why should we ever be afraid?

- Psalm 27:1

II. The Lord had Him out of all His Troubles. (V.6)

A. This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him.

- Romans 8:26-27; 1 Peter 5:6-7

B. Man's extremity often becomes God's opportunity

C. David found his Lord was up to the occasion.

III. The Lord Had Him in Times of Danger (v.7)

A. David discovered he was not alone.

- Joshua 1:5-7

B. When pursued by angry Saul, David had been delivered.

C. When surrounded by his enemies, he was protected.

D. No wonder he issued his enduring challenge.

-"O taste and see that the Lord is good."

I will bless the LORD at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
