How to create/update a Branded Pastiche App

1. Design and create branding assets.

2. Send branding assets to Xyleme

3. Build and package branded Pastiche app

4. Submit app to Apple’s App Store

5. Review and Approve App

6. Make app available for download

YOUR COMPANYFollow the Pastiche branding guide to create the required images to personalize your Pastiche app with your own branding. If you are updating the app, then only the branding assets to be updated need to be provided.

Submit a zip file containing the branded assets. You can use email, ftp or a web form.

Integrate branded assets and build an app package. We will provide a preliminary app package that you can install on your iPad through iTunes Desktop or your Kindle Fire to see how your branded app looks on the tablet.

Send the app package to the App Store

End users can connect with their tablets to the App Store and download the branded app

How to monetize your content

eCommerce Transaction through the App*

• B2B model.• The transaction happens outside of the Pastiche Ecosystem.• In the Pastiche Store create a license key and associate a number of learning products to it. Define the

maximum number of uses that license key allows.• Sell the license and get it distributed among learners.• Through the app, learners add the license key and get instant access to the associated learning

products.

• B2C model.• The transaction happens within the Pastiche Ecosystem.• In the Pastiche Store, you define a price for your products.• Learners access your product catalog using your tablet app and decide which content to

buy.• Learners pay for the product and are then authorized to download and install the product on

their devices.• Apple’s and Amazon’s policies force any inApp payment to go through their payment

gateway and they charge a 30% commission on the selling price.*Available April 2012
