Prices of CDs are too high, re-write reactions of the manufacturers in passive (use underlined modal verbs). We can’t produce them any more cheaply at the moment. The price must reflect all our costs. What can you buy for the price of a CD? We can lower the price when the market gets bigger. Someone should investigate the prices of other products. We can’t really compare prices in different countries because of sales taxes.

HAVE something DONE (PASSIVE) koristimo TO HAVE umjesto TO BE strukturu koristimo za radnje koje drugi

obavljaju za nas – usluge zubara, mehaničara, liječnika, frizera – a ne mi sami

glagol TO HAVE prilagođavamo potrebi rečenice uz pomoć različitih glagolskih vremena

e.g. “We have our windows cleaned once a month.”

Idemo na servis s autom idući tjedan. Jučer sam dala sterilizirati mačku. Hajdemo na frizuru zajedno! Morat ćemo dati popraviti krovište. Zašto ne daš nekome ispeći tortu na

rođendan? Jesi li dao prevesti rodni list? Nisam dala urediti vrt, uredila sam ga

sama.
