Passier stands for quality saddlery of an opti-

mum standard. A name with a long tradition,

which remains in the family. This provides a

guarantee that certain things will not change.

Precisely those things which distinguish a genu-

ine Passier product. And have done, for almost

150 years.

Anyone who appreciates top quality will always

make the right choice with products by Passier.

Because all saddles, bridles, girths, stirrup leath-

ers etc. are still made by hand – from the high-

est quality materials from selected suppliers.

Furthermore, from the beginning successful

personalities from national and international

equestrian sports have been pleased to assist

Passier in the area of new developments and

advancements of existing products. Whether

jumping, dressage or eventing: Passier always

meets the highest standards!

Because for Passier an optimum fit and therefore

respect and care of the horse is the ultimate

priority. So every saddle can be adjusted to fit a

horse's back perfectly – and can even be adjust-

ed a number of times, if necessary. At the same

time a genuine Passier saddle guarantees out-

standing seating quality for the rider. This means

a unique riding experience which is virtually

impossible to match: That's the Passier feeling.

Over 80 employees work at the company head-

quarters in Germany to achieve this feeling.

CArE ProDuCTSEvery quality product requires particularly good care in order also to preserve its high quality properties for as long as possible. For the correct care of Passier saddles and bridles it is therefore important to use Passier Saddle Soap, Passier Lederbalsam and Passier Bridle Cleaner exclusively. This is the only way of guaran­teeing correct care of the exclusive Passier products.

The Saddle Tree – The Saddle'S hearT

Since September 2012 Passier has been pro­ducing the PS­saddle tree with frt­System® which permits the horse's shoulder to ro­tate completely freely.

The original PS saddle tree was patented on July 23rd, 1959 and has been continually devel­oped ever since.

The adjustable width of the gullet plate means a Passier saddle can be adjusted perfectly to suit the shape of any horse's back. This can even be done a number of times. The PS saddle tree makes it possible.

The saddle tree with frt­System® is used in the Sirius Dressage Saddle. Naturally it is also made by hand in Langenhagen by master saddlers.

The Passier synthetic saddle tree made from elastomer material has been in use since 1973. The attractively priced alternative to the PS saddle tree meets the highest standards and also offers perfect conditions for an optimum seat.

The heart of every saddle by G. Passier & Sohn is the flex­ible saddle tree which makes the saddle adjustable and therefore horse­friendly.

NorMAL PANELSNormal panels are optimally suited to the majority of horses of normal conformation. The short gullet plate bar of the saddle tree on the interior side permits good freedom of the shoulders, the foam insert ensures that the saddle lies softly and smoothly on the horse's back. A saddle with normal panels can be fitted in an optimum way to the horse.

FrEEDoM PANELSThe freedom panels are excellent for horses with broad or ex­ceptionally sensitive withers. The special way these panels are made ensures that contact with the withers is effectively avoided. The wider surface contact area means the panels are positioned perfectly on the horse's back. These panels are available for all Passier saddles and can be adjusted carefully.

All Passier products are available in the colors Black and Havana, a

warm, dark shade of brown. Some products are additionally available

in Teak, a lighter walnut brown. Types of leather used are Jupa leather,

a soft, non-slip cow hide, and Calf leather which is currently the

softest and most comfortable leather. Some saddles and snaffles also

have shiny, Patent leather trimmings.

Every Passier saddle has a flexible saddle tree as well as a wide channel which makes it extremely comfortable for the horse.

Kristina Sprehe, dressage team silver medalist at the olympic Games in London and team gold medalist at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen, is a dedicated user of Passier saddles. She was also one of the first riders to test the new Sirius Dressage Saddle – and found it to be very good.

sult of very good collaboration with German

dressage team Olympic winner Hubertus

Schmidt. The saddle convinces immediately

by its soft, deep seat. The thigh supports

with pre-formed knee inserts ensure that the

rider's leg is always in the correct position.

example on account of the freedom panels.

AurIGA BrEASTPLATE

This horse­friendly breastplate prevents the saddle from slipping backwards in the take­off phase without exerting pressure on any specific points.

CorvuS BrEASTPLATE

The breastplate with removable martingale attachment convinces by its elasticated side pieces. The elasticity significantly reduces the pressure on the horse's withers.

MArCuS EHNING BrEASTPLATE

The particularly elaborately stitched breastplate with a removable martingale attachment was developed together with professional showjumper Marcus Ehning. The breastplate is very softly lined so the horse barely feels it, and therefore very horse­friendly.

PHoENIx BrEASTPLATE WITH CLoSED AND ruNNING MArTINGALE ATTACHMENT

The embossed Phoenix Breastplate is equipped with two martingale attachments. The belly strap has a snap hook and a Conway buckle.

The accessories have been developed together with horse trainer Horst Becker. The Lunging Girth keeps the horse's spineous processes free – the Gymnastic reins offer the horse free­dom of movement in all directions.

Passier stirrup leathers of selected pre­stretched cow hide are meticu­lously hand­stitched in such a way that the grain is on the inside. They are par­ticularly durable.

Passier saddle girths are the result of many years' experience in equestrian sport. They convince by their horse­friendliness, functionalism and slip­proof qualities.

Saddle padSAll saddle pads by G. Passier & Sohn have one thing in common:They convince by means of their very good properties and their particularly elegant appearance. Not only in the case of the leather products, also con­cerning textiles, great emphasis is placed on reliability and endurance as well as an excellent appearance – however intensely the products are used.

TrAPEZIuS rELIEF PAD (TrP)

The Trapezius relief Pad has been de­veloped together with dressage trainer Eberhard Weiß. It distinguishes itself from conventional pads by means of the two spe­cial recesses in the sensitive rearward part of the trapezius muscle. These oval recesses provide demonstrable pressure relief: The horse can breath more freely and snort more contentedly. Furthermore the pad encourag­es better back activity and relaxation as well as promoting good muscle development and can also be used prophylactically against over­sensitive reactions to the saddle.

SADDLE CLoTH WITH CoAT oF ArMS DrESSAGE/JuMPING

The Saddle Cloth with Coat of Arms convinces by means of its very good fit. The outer material is in suede­look and quilted with under­material made of 100 percent, skin­friendly cotton.

BrEATHABLE SADDLE CLoTH WITH CoAT oF ArMS DrESSAGE/JuMPING

In the case of the Breathable Saddle Cloth with Coat of Arms, the finely woven outer material is securely quilted with a special “open­pore” under material. The material combination reduces accumulated heat and dampness – the horse can dry off more quickly.

QuILTED SADDLE CLoTH DrESSAGE/JuMPING

The Quilted Saddle Cloth with the Passier lettering printed around the surrounding braid, convinces with 100 percent cotton material on the outer side as well as the under side and the stabilizing foam insert with additional filling.

FLExIPAD® DrESSAGE/JuMPING

The FlexiPad® was tested by the renowned IST Institute, Munich, and by the Technical university of Munich, research Group Schmitt­Thomas, and certified as particularly horse­friendly. It adjusts perfectly to the horse's back and to the saddle and can therefore compensate for changes which take place to the horse's body in the course of training. It absorbs the pressure – the muscles of the horse can relax. In addition, it ensures an optimum sad­dle­fit since it is made of FlexiFleece which has no memory effect and therefore it always retains its shape. As a result of the cut back head and curved back, the FlexiPad® sits perfectly, as a fully revers­ible pad it is extremely practical and is available in a wide range of colors.

The elegant Fleece Cooler rug in Passier Blue with coat of arms has a very good cooling as well as warming function because it is made of cosy, soft Polar Fleece.

The noseband and head piece of the Passier Leather Stable Halter are softly lined.

The Nylon Stable Halter is also tearproof and lined – with a three­color plaited rope with panic hook to match.

The crocheted Anti­Fly Hood with coat of arms protects your horse against tire­some flies and it also looks very good. The ear protection section is made of a cotton­polyester mix with stretchable elasthane to guarantee a perfect fit.

The water­repel­lent Travel Boots with reliable hoof pad protection can be put on your horse quickly and are also very secure. The four velcro fastenings make the Travel Boots quick and easy to close.

The cooler rug made of fluffy soft cotton­Dralon® fabric in Passier Blue with white border and Passier lettering is a clear statement for quality by tradition! The rug convinces by many advantages: It is climatizing, warming, easy­care and crease­resistant. Furthermore it has a very good cooling function.

The robust Fleece Bandages with the rhombus Passier emblem not only look good, they are also elastic, soft and supple and thus pro­vide optimum support for the tendons and ligaments. They are very easy to fit because of the velcro fastening.

The under rug made of soft polyester in Passier Blue with Passier let­tering on the border is available either with 150 g or warm 300 g filling. In order to effectively avoid any rubbed patches in the chest area, smooth polyester taffeta has been integrated into the front of the rug. An inner woven fur insert protects the sensitive withers.

STABLE & TurNouT ruG

The Stable & Turnout rug convinces by its optimum fit. The smooth polyes­ter inner lining means the rug adapts perfectly to the horse's sequence of movement and protects the horse's shoulders. Additional features are the movement gussets, the practical closure at the front and sides as well as the tail flap. Available without filling as well as with 150 g or 300 g filling.
