SALDUS
Bee fields of Saldus
Why «Saldus»? The legend of Saldus
Once upon a time on the hill a herd boy was herding pigs. He observed that every day one of the pigs disappear. He started to pay attention where do the pigs go. He then finally found a pig over the hill going intoa hole in the hill. The herd boy followed the pig into the hole. When he got in the hill he found a pig in front him, which had been eating all sorts of cereals, as well as other dishes. The pig after having a nice meal, left the hill through the hole and slept all day while other pigs were herding. The next day the same pig again went through the hole inside the hill, and the herd boy went after it. And again ithad been eating at precincts. Herd boywas looking for something to eat through the cellars. And also found that there were many barrels full of wine. The boy found a dish and filled it with the wine from the barrels. He drank it. It was delicious! The boy drank the entire container and crept out again to the pigs. Pigs were laying, but the boy, a sweet wine drunk, began to jump and sing:
"Sweet ate, sweet drunk, Sweet mouth washed. "
