CARE THEME FOR November:

Compassion for others

Our students are learning about the importance of thinking about others. Throughout the month of November, we will focus on learning about ways in which we can show compassion. We encourage students to show compassion to their peers so that Lincoln Elementary continues to be a happy place to grow and learn.

Christmas Bazaar

We are holding our Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 25th from 9 am- 1 pm.

This bazaar has been held for over 30 years! We count on the bazaar to raise money for our playground, school trips and educational supplies for the school.

The Cake Walk and Pop/Chip Walk are similar to a familiar game called Musical Chairs. Participants will walk around a group of numbered chairs to music. When the music stops, sit in a chair! If the number on your chair matches the random number drawn, you win a cake if you are doing the cake walk or pop or chips if you are doing the Pop/Chip Walk. Its that easy! Both these games are very popular activities. As well, we will have Lucky Squares, a Chinese Auction and a Silent Auction with many great prizes for each.

There will be lots of games for children and there will be a Canteen selling hotdogs, popcorn and drinks. There will be merchants selling crafts, baked goods, jewelry and more!

WE NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT for the following:

Donate a cake for the Cake Walk we will be requesting each class to have at least 5 cakes/cookies/squares! Please volunteer to help with this if you can!

A Dollar Store Item or $1 for prizes

A 2L bottle of pop or a big bag of chips for the Pop/Chip Walk

Bring in, or ask your employer to donate item(s) for our Silent/Chinese auctions.

Donations should be brought to the school office on or before Thursday, November 23rd

Donate your time to help out at the bazaar (357-4075)

Spread the word about the Bazaar!

All donations are asked to be brought to the school by Thursday, Nov. 23rd except cakes as they can be dropped off on Friday, Nov. 24. Children love the Cake Walk and Pop/Chip Walk.

Thank you for your continued support & help!
