Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo
The Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo is the largest annual ranching event in Texas and Oklahoma. The
event combines an industry-leading Expo, School for Successful Ranching, renowned speakers, and great
parties into a single, action-packed weekend.
More than 4,000 cattle raisers, landowners, and allied industry professionals from Texas and Oklahoma
attend the event. The Expo features more than 225 companies in 130,000 square feet of Expo space.
The Expo is also home to the Learning Lounge and cattle handling demonstrations, all available to Expo
attendees.
The 2016 Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo will be held April 8 - 10, 2016 at the Fort Worth
Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Closing General Session Brunch Amount: $7,000
The final event of the Cattle Raisers Convention. Attendees will enjoy a hearty Sunday morning brunch
and hear our friends Evelyn Browning-Garriss and her son, James Garriss, historical climatologists, tell us
what the weather may have in store for ranchers in 2016. Then, share a moment with President Pete
Bonds as he hands the president’s gavel to his successor.
Full sponsors will be entitled to a private audience with Ms. Garriss to discuss the potential impact of the
climate on their business.
Information Sessions
Information sessions are conducted with the purpose of bringing the latest information to our
attendees. Each session provides an opportunity for the sponsor to introduce the speaker, distribute
items to session attendees, and brand the meeting room. Some sessions may also provide an
opportunity for a private session with the speaker and small, private groups.
Sustainability: A Great and Global Concept, but What Does It Mean for Ranching? Amount: $4,000
There’s a global discussion among beef producers, industry leaders, scientists, beef retailers and others
about keeping beef on the plate in developed countries, and about getting more beef in the meals
among developing countries. The speaker is Cameron Bruett, past chairman of the Global Roundtable
for Sustainable Beef.

Water and Surface Rights: Strategies and Tactics to Protect Your Property Rights Amount: $4,000
Joseph B.C. Fitzsimons, with Uhl, Fitzsimons, Jewett & Burton, is an expert in water and surface rights,
especially as they pertain to oil and gas companies and eminent domain. Attendees will hear about
things that landowners need to know, directly from the oil and gas world and from battles with water
users.
Beef’s Bad Rap: Dispelled Myths Beef Producers Should Know Amount: $4,000
Dr. Shalene McNeill will present attendees with the latest information on beef nutrition research.
Common myths will be dispelled and attendees will leave with important nutrition nuggets they can use
to share with others about why beef is a food for health.
Eminent Domain Reform Amount: $4,000

Cassandra Fish, author of The Beef newsletter, and Herb Meischen, HM Consulting, will team up to look
at current market conditions, market volatility, and the market outlook for 2016. They will also take a
look at the retail case and what challenges retailers face in getting consumers to purchase more beef.
Of Things That Concern Cattle Raisers Amount: $2,500
For nearly 100 years, the “Of Things That Concern Cattle Raisers” department in the front of The
Cattleman has been a news digest of issues important to ranchers. Attendees will about TSCRA’s stance
on critical and emerging issues that drive today’s ranching operations.

Educational Programs
School for Successful Ranching Amount: $5,000; non-exclusive sponsorship
Sponsors at the School for Successful Ranching enjoy unique recognition with School attendees.
Attendees can choose from 32 hours of practical classroom instruction and may earn up to 19 hours of
Beef Quality Credits.
The 2016 School program has been expanded to include additional classrooms sessions on Saturday. In
2016, the School programs are open to all convention attendees. This means more value for the

Expo Column Wraps Amount: Call for pricing
Get the attention of convention attendees with custom column wraps throughout the exhibit hall.
Column locations will be chosen by show management and sponsor. A limited number of columns are
available on the Expo floor.
Floor Sticker/Foot Path Amount: call for details, cost depends on volume of floor stickers
Drive traffic directly to your booth with these unique stickers. Stickers can be in the shape of your logo,
foot prints, or even hoof prints! Stickers will be located in the aisle way leading towards your booth.

Convention Photography Amount: $3,000
The sponsorship will involve photography coverage, licensed images, and a custom website for all
Convention attendees to view event photographs. The sponsorship is high-impact and will provide
lasting promotional exposure post-event.
Attendee Charging Station Amount: $2,000
Attendees cite opportunities to network as a top reason for attending the convention. Sponsor an area
where attendees can charge their cell phones, PDAs, iPhones, and iPads. Your logo will appear on the
charging station and in the final handbook on-site.

Food and Beverage Expo Lunches – Friday or Saturday Amount: $5,000 per day
On Friday and Saturday of Cattle Raisers Convention, the Expo floor is home to lunches for exhibitors
and attendees. If you want to drive traffic to your booth, this is an excellent opportunity to bring
attendees to your location.
Convention Coffee Stations Amount: cost of coffee, please call for details; may be co-sponsored
Cattle raisers love their coffee! Your company can be the exclusive sponsor of a coffee station
throughout the convention. The cost of the sponsorship will include coffee cups made for the sponsor as
well as signage and on-site promotion. This sponsorship has been extremely popular at previous
conventions.
Drink Coolers Amount: $1,000 per cooler
We use drink coolers that provide a cleaner, brighter
distribution option for attendees. The coolers will be
highly visible in function and placement. This is a great
opportunity to get visibility in a high traffic area.
Afternoon Breaks – Friday or Saturday Amount: $1,000 per afternoon
Each afternoon during Convention we provide breaks for
attendees to grab a snack and relax between meetings.
If you want to drive traffic to your booth, this is an
excellent opportunity to bring attendees to your
location.
Booth Bars Amount: Consumption-based, call for details
Exhibitors have asked for bars in their booths and that’s
exactly what this sponsorship provides. On Friday and
Saturday, from 4:00 until closing, exhibitors may sponsor
a bar in their booth. There will be two bars apiece for beer, wine, and margaritas – a total of six bars per
night. Sponsors may select which type of bar they would like. The cost of the sponsorship is only what
attendees consume. This is a unique pass-through opportunity for exhibitors. Please note that the bar
must be within the booth so it will take away some of your exhibit space.

TSCRA Board of Directors Meeting Amount: $5,000 annually (four meetings per year)
The TSCRA Board of Directors is composed of 135 beef industry leaders throughout Texas and
