Synopsis of Greater Brighton Metropolitan College PropositionAs a current Lead Provider of significant contracts in Apprenticeships, Adult Education Budget (AEB) and a deliverer of a comprehensive portfolio of full cost recovery training, Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is keen to continue its collaboration with partners subject to funding availability. Greater Brighton Metropolitan College has enjoyed very successful partnership arrangements with a range of regional Providers supporting the local economic skills agenda. As a result GBMET has achieved an excellent reputation for strong and supportive Partnership working.

For contract year 2019.20 commencing 1st September 2019 Greater Brighton Metropolitan College are inviting interest from potential partners to support the growing demand within specific sectors seen as a priority for both the College and its employer clients including but not exclusive to:

Health & Social Care, Manufacturing, Construction, Visitor Economy and Professional Services.

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College are particularly interested in partners who are working with apprenticeship levy clients or are able to delivery short Adult Education courses.

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College formerly Northbrook College and City College Brighton has been delivering Apprenticeships for the past 22 years, with successful partnership arrangements in place for the past 14 years achieving exceptionally high overall & timely success rates and will look to engage Partners who have the same commitment to quality and support for Apprentices.

Outcomes for AEB have achieved high national success well in excess of national averages (4th in the country in 16/17) therefore Partners will be expected to support this level of success as well as meeting the diverse needs of learners.

Send a copy of your last audited set of accounts and up to date management accounts

Stage 2Greater Brighton Metropolitan College to undertake a due diligence review which may require the college to:

Request copy of latest Ofsted Report

Take up references of previous/current partnership arrangement

Obtain confirmation of registration on Register of Apprenticeship Training Organisations and/or Register of Training Organisations

Have confirmation of other subcontracting activity with ESFA funding

Stage 3Training Providers successfully selected will be invited to an initial contract meeting to agree arrangements for 2019/20 delivery.
