QUARTERLY BUSINESS

MEETING

JULY 19, 6 pm

Praise Band practice will be moved to Wednesdays this summer. It will meet at 4:30pm. Choir practice will be not be held during the months of June, July. It will resume on Aug. 2 at normal time.

Youth Summer Mission Projects Several Wednesday evenings this

summer our youth will participate in service projects from 5:30-8pm. This is for youth who are in 6-12

grades. We will meet at the church before going to the chosen mission project. In order to go to Holiday

World on July 19, you have to come to 4 of these mission fellowship

nights. Let’s have a great summer serving in ministry for our Lord!

Part-Time Custodial Position:

The Dorrisville Baptist Church is accepting applications for a part-time (20-28 hours)

custodial position. The responsibilities for the position will primarily involve cleaning the

sanctuary and educational wing of the church facility. To apply please stop by the church

office at 1300 S. Feazel Street, Harrisburg. You may call 618-252-1862 for questions or more

information.

LOST AND FOUND

A key chain was found in a bag of clothing at the Mercy Center. If you are missing a key to a car please contact the church office to identify it.

CALLING ALL YOUTH!!!

Bro Brent is planning a canoe trip on the Current River on July 30-31. Cost is $40

Bus will leave at 2 pm Sunday afternoon and return by 5 pm on Monday after-

noon. Contact the church office to sign up and pay for your trip.

Join Baptists from across the state for a day of ministry to the folks of Cairo, Illinois. On that day, we will reach out and minister with dental, medical, school supplies, haircuts, food and fun.

The DBC family will be providing activities very similar to our “Sunday in the Park.” They include Giant Bubbles, Parachute, Fishing Pond, Make and Take Activities, Jump Houses, Face Painting, and the like. We will also provide the hotdogs, chips and drinks for those who attend the event.

Come join us as we make a difference in their lives and for the Kingdom. This IS a family friendly opportunity. We encourage you to bring the family and serve together.
