1 Correct the mistakes Listen to the first part of ‘Sleep Safe’. Some words in this text are wrong. Highlight and correct them.

A young inventor at Bristol High School has won a major prize in the Young Engineers for Britain award. Jonathan Love (16), from the Sneyd Park area of Bristol, won $500 for his Sleep Safe invention, a device which is designed to record the number of cases of cot death. ‘Cot death’ is when a healthy baby dies in his sleep. It usually happens when the baby is lying face down. Jonathan was able to have his design tested on a real baby, and it worked well. ‘He has found a solution to something that all parents worry about,’ said Paul Whitehouse, Director of Technology at the school. ‘My wife and I were pleased to get it on our nine-week-old son Joe.’The small device is worn in a tidy garment which gives out a radio signal if the baby rolls onto its front. This triggers an alarm unit that can be heard as fast as 50 metres from the cot.
