Nikita & Salman completed their MBA & started working in a Multi national company at the same level. Both are happy with their employer. Salman had the habit of backbiting & wrong reporting about his colleagues to impress his boss. All the employees in the organization knew about it. At the time of performance appraisal the performance of Nikita was judged better than Salman. Answer- Characteristic “Management is a group activity” is

violated here. An organisation is a group of different individuals who work together to achieve goals of an organisation.

Subordination of individual interest to personal interest- The interest of the organisation as a whole must be given priority over the interest of the individual employees.

Ms Mamta is promoted to the post of Principal. Ruchika and Amit are business studies teachers as well as good friends. One day at lunch they were discussing about the behavior of the newly appointed principal. The principal sets the targets for the subject teachers without discussing it with them. She firmly tells them that if the task is not completed within given time period then strict action will be taken against them.
