– Answers including keywords (the same word & similarly-pronounced word which is read in conversations) are traps!

Who, Why, What and How

– The answers will be…When → Date/Time, Where → Place, Who →

Person/People, Why → Reason

Strategy 6The answer to “Yes/No-asking questions” (Do you~? Don’t they~? etc.) is not always Yes/No!– Example: Do you like banana? Very much.– Other question patterns

• Do you like coffee, don’t you? → Don’t care “don’t you” and find the choice which answers to “Do you like coffee?”, such as “Yes, I do.”

• Which do you like, A or B?→ The answer cannot be Yes/No, and usually contains A or B.

– Concentrate on the meaning of each answer
