FROM THE A1 NORTHBOUNDLeaveA1atCarpenter’sLodgefly-overandproceeddownHighStreetSt Martins towards the town on B1081. Stamford High School on the right. For the Junior School turn left, opposite the High School, onto the A43KetteringRoad.ThemainentrancetotheJuniorSchool,Nurseryand St Michael’s Boarding House is on the right 100 metres ahead.

FROM THE A1 SOUTHBOUNDTaketheA43exitandfromthesliproadturnlefttowardsStamford,KetteringRoad.ShortlythereisanS-bendandtheJuniorSchoolisimmediately after the bend on the left. For the High School continue to the end of the road and the entrance will be seen opposite.

FROM THE WESTAs you drive east on A47, at the Duddington roundabout take A43 towards Stamford. Five miles on you will pass under the A1 into KetteringRoad.ShortlythereisanS-bendandtheentrancetotheJuniorSchool is immediately after the bend on the left. For the High School continue to the end of the road and the entrance will be seen opposite.

FROM THE EASTYouwillenterthetownviatheA1175UffingtonRoad,crosstheriverfollowing signs for the A1 south. Pass the George Hotel on your right andproceedupthehill.TheHighSchoolisontheleftandfortheJuniorSchoolturnrightoppositetheHighSchoolontotheA43KetteringRoad.TheJuniorSchoolisontheright,100metresahead.

Journey times from the airports by road to Stamford are: East Midlands – 90 minutes, Birmingham – 80 minutes, Luton – 80 minutes, Stansted – 80 minutes, Heathrow – 2 hours, and Gatwick – 2 hours 30 minutes. All have regular scheduled flightstotheUK,Europeandinternationaldestinations.

BY RAILPeterboroughisthenearestmainlinestationandhasextensivedirect links to all parts of England and Scotland (1 hour to London). Stamford station is one stop from Peterborough.

FROM THE WESTIfapproachingonA606turnleftattrafficlightsintoNorthStreet.IfapproachingonA6121alongTinwellRoad,turnleftontoWestStreetandattrafficlights,drivestraightoverontoNorthStreet.Youwillseethe police station and town car park on your left. Proceed along this roadtothetrafficlights.ForBrazenoseHouse,goacrossthecrossroadsandturnrightintothecarparkhalfwayalongBrazenoseLane.ForStamfordSchool,turnleftandturnintotheSouthfield’sentrance50malong the road.

FROM THE A1 NORTHBOUND LeaveA1atCarpenter’sLodgeflyoverandproceeddownHighStreetSt Martins into the town on B1081, passing Stamford High School on therightandtheGeorgeHotelontheleft.Attrafficlights,drivestraightahead over the River Welland bridge and then turn immediately right into Wharf Road. Follow this road as it bears left, then right into St LeonardsStreet.TurnleftintoBraznoseLaneandturnleftintothecarparkentranceforBrazenoseHouse.ForStamfordSchool,continuetothetrafficlightsandturnright,andthenleftintotheentrance50malongthe road.

FROM THE EASTEnterthetownontheA1175UffingtonRoad,passingStamfordandRutland Hospital on your right. 50m past the mini roundabout the entrancetoStamfordSchoolisonyourright.ForBrazenoseHouse,turnleftatthetrafficlightsintothecarparkhalfwaydownBrazenoseLane.
