THROUGHOUT ITS HOURS OF OPERATION IT WILL BE A WELLILLUMINATED, WELL SIGNED, CONSTANTLY MONITORED, SAFE ENVIRONMENT.DURING NON-OPERATIONAL HOURS IT WILL BE WELL ILLUMINATED, SECURE,AND ALARMED. THE STAFF WILL BE TRAINED SO THAT FIRE MARSHALS ANDFIRST AIDERS WILL ALWAYS BE ON SITE AND ALL THOSE WORKING WITHCHILDREN WILL BE CRB CHECKED.

    b) The prevention of crime and disorder THE GROUND FLOOR ENTRANCE FOYER/RECEPTION WILL BE CONSTANTLYSTAFFED WHEN THE BUILDING IS OPEN AND BACK OF HOUSE DOORS WILL BEON DIGITALLY CODED LOCKS WITH CODES CHANGED EVERY SIX TEN WEEKS.A BURGLAR ALARM AND FIRE ALARM WILL BE CHECKED AND TESTEDREGULARLY, WITH 24 REDCARE (OR SIMILAR LEVEL) MONITORING. THERE WILLBE A SAFE IN THE OFFICE AND SAFES (OR SOME FORM OF LOCKERS) IN THEDRESSING ROOMS. THE CAF BAR WILL IMPLEMENT A STRICT PROOF OF AGEPOLICY WITH REGARDS THE SALE OF ALCOHOL. NO MONEY WILL BE KEPT INTHE TILLS OVERNIGHT. EXTERNALLY THE DESIGN OF FAADE WILL BE BRIGHT,ILLUMINATING AT NIGHT, WITH A CONCERTINA GATE TO ELIMINATE THEALCOVE CREATED BY THE RECESSED DOORS. INTERNALLY THE DESIGN IS FORA SAFE ENVIRONMENT THAT CAN BE EASILY CLEANED AND MONITORED.TOILETS WILL BE CLEANED AND INSPECTED REGULARLY. THE THEATRE WILLESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE POLICE, AND WILLKEEP AN INCIDENT LOG BOOK OF ANY CRIME (INCLUDING THEFT, ATTEMPTEDTHEFT AND SUSPICIOUS CHARACTERS). WE HAVE ALREADY CONSULTED WITHTHE POLICE DESIGN TEAM AND TAKEN ON BOARD THEIR COMMENTS.c) Public safetyTHE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING ALLOWS FOR EASY ACCESS FOR ALL MEMBERSOF THE PUBLIC WITH CLEAR SIGNAGE. THE LIFT WILL HAVE AN INTEGRATEDEMERGENCY ALARM, CHECKED REGULARLY. THE STAFF WILL ENSURE THATTHE BUILDING IS KEPT CLEAN AND TIDY AND THAT FIRE CORRIDORS ARE FREEFROM OBSTRUCTION AT ALL TIMES. DIGITAL CODED LOCKS TO THE BACK OFHOUSE AREAS WILL ENSURE THAT MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, PARTICULARLYYOUNG CHILDREN, CANNOT WANDER OFF INTO AREAS THAT MAY PROVEHAZARDOUS. THE STAFF WILL BE TRAINED SO THAT FIRE MARSHALS AND FIRSTAIDERS WILL ALWAYS BE ON SITE AND ALL THOSE WORKING WITH CHILDRENWILL BE CRB CHECKED. THE FIRE ALARM WILL BE CHECKED REGULARLY. THETOILETS WILL BE KEPT CLEAN AND INSPECTED REGULARLY. THE INTERNALDESIGN IS FOR AN ENVIRONMENT THAT CAN BE EASILY CLEANED MONITOREDAND, EXTERNALLY, THE ILLUNIATION OF THE THEATRE WILL PROVIDE ADDEDSAFETY TO THE STREET SCENE. AN INCIDENT LOG BOOK OF INJURIES WILL BEKEPT. AS WELL AS DISBALED PATRONS, PARENTS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN ANDPUSHCHAIRS WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FIRST FLOOR CAF BAR SAFELYBY USING THE LIFT.

    THE MAIN HOUSE AND STUDIO THEATRES ARE TWO INDEPENDENTACOUSTICALLY SEALED BOXES WITHIN THE BUILDING. AS SUCH ALL NOISEWILL BE SAFELY CONTAINED. DESIGN OF THE FAADEWILL ENSURE THAT THOSE ENTERING/LEAVING/SMOKING OUTSIDE ARE PULLEDAWAY FROM THE EXISTING RESIDENTIAL. CIGARETTE BINS WILL BE INSTALLEDON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDNG WITH SIGNS URGING PATRONS NOT TODROP BUTTS ON THE FLOOR. ALL THESE MEASURES WILL BE MONITORED BYOUR STAFF AS NECCESARY. THE ILLUMINATION OF THE BUILDING AT NIGHTWILL DISCOURAGE LOITERING ON THIS AREA OF THE STREET. LIKE THE INSIDEOF THE BUILDING, THE OUTSIDE WILL BE KEPT CLEAN AND FREE FROMRUBBISH AS THIS IS OUR STREET PRESENCE THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TOUS.
