May we take this opportunity to offer you our congratulations on yourforthcoming marriage and introduce you to The Park hotel, Diss. Our hotelis the ideal venue to accommodate both your wedding ceremony and

reception as we offer an uncomplicated start to married life with comfort, style,ambience and convenience all rolled into one.

Situated only half a mile from Diss market town centre, The Park Hotel has ampleparking, friendly staff and an extended, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Ouremphasis is firmly built around quality of service, just let us know and we’ll make sureit happens. All weddings are unique and individual, we therefore discuss yourrequirements fully and ask you to provide your budget so we can endeavour to provideyour perfect day at a price that suits.

We hold a Civil Wedding Ceremony Licence, soyou can now relax and enjoy your full day underone roof. The celebration of your marriage canthen begin immediately with reception drinks foryou and your guests and photographs in ourbeautifully landscaped garden.

Deposits & PaymentsA £250 deposit is required to secure the date of your wedding. 50% of the estimated balance is dueto be paid 6 months prior to your wedding with the final balance paid at least two weeks before yourwedding, with any outstanding balance to be paid on departure.

ChildrenChildren’s meals are half the price of adult meals.

Final NumbersFinal numbers will be requested two weeks before the wedding, these must be confirmed 72 hoursbeforehand. This will be the number of guests charged for unless the numbers increase.

Cancellations (Insurance)In the unfortunate event that you will need to cancel your wedding reception with us, charges will applyas follows; over 6 months prior to the date reserved: deposit only, less than 6 months prior to the datereserved: a proportion of the final bill.

Prices & VAT Prices quoted may be subject to change. Once a quote has been provided, and your deposit has beenpaid, we will endeavour not to inflate prices unless it is beyond our control. All prices quoted areinclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Once you have decided to hold your wedding breakfast and reception with us, thefollowing services are included within the room hire charge:

• Exclusive use of the banqueting hall

• White table linen

• Menu cards on all tables

• Table planning

• Use of our cake stand and knife for the cutting of the cake

• Background music system

• Exclusive use of our wedding co-ordinator

• Assistance with florists, photographers, cake makers and bridal wear etc.

CateringWe can accommodate up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast, and up to 240guests for your evening reception. Within the banqueting hall there is a private barwhich can be hired for your evening reception (for a small additional charge). Smallerparties can also be catered for. Please feel free to call us to talk about your requirementsfurther.

Enclosed are our wedding breakfast and buffet menus. Eachchoice is individually priced to enable you to select a menuto suit your budget. Where possible, our ingredients aresourced locally, and we cook and serve to order. Our foodis complemented with a selection of affordable wines andbeverages for you and your guests alike.

\Entertainment

We will be happy to supply a disco for yourevening entertainment; all current charges areenclosed. We can also assist with cabaret artistsor a live band, if you wish. Alternatively, you arewelcome to arrange your own entertainment forno additional fee.

Our licence allows your evening reception tofinish at 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, with the bar open until 1.00am. The receptionand bar close at 11.00pm on Sundays.

We offer a selection of accommodation within our 19bedrooms. All offer flat screen digital television withFreeview, direct dial telephone, trouser press and ironingfacilities, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities,hair dryer, radio alarm clock and complimentarytoiletries.

Group ReservationsWhen you confirm your wedding with us, we can reserve all available rooms at thattime for your guests. Your guests will then need to call us to make a reservation, roomswill be allocated on a first come first served basis. Any rooms not booked 6 weeksbefore your wedding will be released for any other guests to book.

Early Check-in RequestsCheck-in is from 2pm. Your guests may request an early check-in time. Whilst wecannot guarantee this, we will do our utmost to prepare the room for their arrival. Ifthe room is not ready, luggage can be securely stored, if necessary, until the room isavailable.
