Description of Proposed Bond Initiative I am now going to read a description of a proposed bond initiative, and then I’ll ask you some questions: The Park City School District has a need of approximately $56 million to expand and/or add school facilities in order to accommodate expected enrollment growth and the new grade realignment. The District has proposed issuing a school bond for the following changes:
• Demolish Treasure Mountain Junior High School • Relocate the High School Track and Football Field to the Junior High Site • Expand Park City High School to Accommodate the Addition of the 9th Grade • Build a New Upper Elementary School for the 5th & 6th Grades Next to Ecker Hill Middle School • Expand McPolin Elementary School • Transition to an All Day Kindergarten and Larger Preschool Enrollment
