Park and Ride
Take the stress out of commuting
for ColchesterLocated to the north of Junction 28 of the A12
Fares (once charging commences)
• Adult daily: £3 (Monday to Saturday)
• Adult weekly: £15
• Adult monthly: £55
• Children (aged between 5 and 15 years inclusive) – daily £1, weekly £5, monthly £20.
• Children under 5 years old travel for free at all times
Concessions
• Concessionary pass holders travel free Monday to Friday after 9am, anytime on Saturday.

Park and Ride for Colchester There is a new Park and Ride service in Colchester. It offers comfortable and convenient transport into the town centre, with bus priority measures along the route and stops at key locations.
The site has the following facilities:
1000 secure parking spaces, including disabled and family spaces. State of the art terminus building with:
• Waiting area and seating
• Toilets (including disabled and baby change facilities)
• Real-time information
• Cycle parking facilities
• Helpful and courteous staff Pedestrian and cyclist link enabling access to Boxted Road and the Community Stadium.
Colchester Park and Ride Bus stops are located at:
• Colchester Railway Station southbound layby
• Colchester High Street
• St John’s Street
• Head Street
• Colchester Railway Station northbound Layby
Service Frequency Monday to Friday • Buses depart the Colchester Park and Ride site from 0700 with the last bus leaving the town centre just before 1900
• Between 0700 and 0900 buses leave every 10 minutes
• Between 0900 and 1630 buses leave every 15 minutes
• Between 1630 and 1842 buses leave every 12 minutes Saturday
• Buses leave every 15 minutes between 0700 and 1845 Colchester Park & Ride is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Please note that no alternative service is available outside of operating hours.
The Park and Ride route provides links to Colchester railway station and Colchester bus station for those who want to continue travelling beyond the town centre.
