Adult Singles Luncheon

Wanted: People Who Would Like to be Part of the Celebration

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ministry is looking for people who would like to be part of the celebration of the Liturgy. Those of us who are part of this ministry consider ourselves very fortunate. If you feel you would like to be part of the ministry at the weekend liturgies we would be delighted to welcome you. We would start with a one hour training session and you would be included on the three month schedule for the liturgy of your choice. You also have a chance to let us know if you have unavailable dates before the 3 month schedule is made up. I hope that you will pray and consider joining our ministry. Please contact: Kathy Canade at [email protected] or ph. 910-313-0244 Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. Kathy Canade

Next Adult Singles Luncheon The next luncheon for single adults that belong to Immaculate Conception Church including men and women; widowers, widows, separated, divorced and always single is scheduled for NOON, Wednesday, June 21, at Rucker John’s, 5564 Carolina Beach, Wilmington. Please R.S.V.P. soon but no later than Monday, June 19, at 5:00 pm to Melanie Ferrara at 262-308-9349 or email at [email protected].

My fellow Knights, If you are not doing a Ministry at ICC, you need to get involved. Many of your Brothers are. It is not a lot of time. I am a Greeter. I work on average one time per month. And it is at the Liturgy that I normally attend. You only have to pick one – Altar Server, Greeter, Usher, Lector, Eucharistic Minister. Please step up. You will be doing the Lord’s work and you will feel good about it! Viva Jesus, Barney Mc Ateer

100th Year of Fatima Rosaries

Centennial Jubilee Anniversary of Fatima 2017 is the Centennial Jubilee Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. On May 13, 1917, the Blessed Mother appeared to three children (and various other locals) near the village of Fatima, Portugal. She asked them, “Pray the rosary every day, to bring peace to the world, and an end to war.” We commemorate this 100 year anniversary by praying the rosary in our Blessed Sacrament Chapel, which will be hosted near the 13th of each month. Thank you for your understanding of dates and times – and may the intercessions of our Blessed Mother bring mercy to us, and to the whole world. (note: dates may be subject to change if a funeral occurs)
