LONGEST DAY SERVICE: Join us DECEMBER

21st , 7-8 PM, for the LONGEST DAY SERVICE. At this service sorrow is welcomed. We remember our lost loved ones and celebrate their lives. The holiday season is a time we are supposed to celebrate hope, love, joy and peace; yet a time we may feel lonely, sad and distanced from the celebrations of the season due to the loss. This service will be a special time of worship with meditative music, communion, prayers for healing and acts of remembrance. There will be a time of fellowship and light refreshment after the service. Why the name “The Longest Day”? This day is the Winter Solstice or the day with the least amount of sunlight. It represents the feelings we may feel contradictory to the Christmas Season. Please save the date and join us for this special evening.
