This week, Sr. Catherine and Fr. Rossi traveled to Washington, D.C. to receive our 2017 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The ceremony was held on Tuesday after two days of conferences. The aim of the gathering was to not only highlight the schools that have achieved this distinction but to share best practices.
I want to salute Sr. Catherine, our Principal, and all the administration, staff and faculty for all they do to make Saint Joseph School truly a place of learning, faith and knowledge.
This weekend, I will be speaking at all the masses for our annual Renewal of Stewardship. I am daily amazed and grateful for all that you do share your time, talent and

Our time of renewal of stewardship is an opportunity for each one of to renew our commit to grow closer to the Lord and prayerfully consider how we can give bake to our parish and church. Thank you from my grateful heart for all that you already do.
Next weekend, our Acolyte seminarian will be here to speak

Stewardship Corner
Jesus compares the kingdom of heaven with ten virgins
who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish and five of them were prudent.
The foolish did not prepare for the wait, they brought no
extra oil to keep their flames burning bright. The prudent
bridesmaids brought extra oil, just in case the wait was
longer than they had expected. And the wait was long.
Some of those who were supposed to be waiting were not
prepared for the wait, with disastrous consequences. Good
stewards heed Jesus’ warning: Be prepared to wait for the
Lord’s return. Is your faith strong enough to endure the
wait? Will the “flames” of passion for the Lord endure?
What are you doing to keep your passion for the Lord from
burning out? (International Catholic Stewardship Council’s
November Newsletter)
