This document highlights the Rules and Regulations laid down by PARIAZ LTD for

Fixed Odds Betting by Short Message Services (SMS), telephone & internet on

Horse Racing. Our contact details:

1. OBJECTIVE

In the Game (as defined hereinafter), the Company (as defined hereinafter) offers a

Bet Event (as defined hereinafter) based on the fixtures of the Licensed horse racing

organizer . A Client (as defined hereinafter) will always receive an sms confirming


the bet that he places if the bet is placed by SMS (as defined hereinafter) with the

Company on one of the Selections (as defined hereinafter) under a Bet Type (as

defined hereinafter) in respect of the Bet Event/s. If the Selection made by the Client

in respect of that Bet Event corresponds to the relevant Result (as defined

hereinafter), then the Client will qualify to be paid his payout (as defined hereinafter)

as provided in these Rules . Similarly, a bet placed by telephone is confirmed when

the bet is read to the client and the client has confirmed the bet. The proof of the bet

lies in the recorded conversation between the client and the company.

2. INTERPRETATION

2.1 In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires:

“Accepted Bet” means a Bet placed with and accepted by the Company through the

mobile telephone network; the public service telecommunication network or on the

internet.

“Account” means the Account of a Client in accordance with the Account Betting

Rules of the company. An account must be in the name of one person only. Joint

account holders are not allowed as well as an account cannot be opened by a

company;

“Account Betting System” means the system of placing a bet through the mobile

telephone network (and always confirmed by the same route in the form of an

SMS), through which a bet is placed by sms with the Company through the

mobile telephone network; the public service telecommunication network / GSM

mobile phones ( where the proof of the bet lies in the recorded conversation ); on

line on the internet where the bet is confirmed on line.

“Account Betting TERMS AND CONDITIONS” means the Terms and Conditions

governing Betting Accounts, as may be amended by the Company from time to time;


“Account Holder” means a Client who has an Account with the Company for the

purpose of betting;

"Bets" mean any type of bet (or any part thereof) made by a Client, that his Selection

under his chosen Bet Type for his stipulated Bet Event will correspond to the Result

in respect of the relevant Bet Event. In particular, "Bet" also means the amount of

money bet by the Client for which there is sufficient fund in his account and received

and accepted by the Company in respect of the client’s Bet;

"Bet Event" means the particular Event or race as identified by the relevant Event

Number or race Number (as the case may be and where applicable) for a specific Bet

Type;

"Bet Type" means the type of bet in the Game offered by the Company to Clients

under these Rules, as described in greater detail in the present Rules hereto;

"Client" means a natural person who is registered with the company for the purpose

of placing bets under the Rules laid down by the company.

"Close of Betting" means the time at and date on which the Company ceases to

accept any Bets in respect of a particular Bet Event, as may be determined, extended

and/or brought forward by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion;

“Company” means PARIAZ LTD;

"Event" means any race organized by the horse racing organizer;

“Event Close” means a period of time between the Start of Betting and the Close of

Betting of a particular Bet Event where no Bets under the Bet Event will be accepted

by the Company ;

"Event Number" means the race number assigned by the licensed horse racing

organizer to a particular race, to identify that Event for purposes of the Game;


"Event Result" in relation to each applicable Bet Type means the result of a Bet

Event as declared by the licensed horse racing organizer;

"Final Result" means the official result of a race as declared by the licensed horse

racing organizer;

"Game" means the horse racing betting scheme operated by the Company to

allow persons to bet on the results of various races or Events played on the

outcomes of races related to or arising out of such races or Events;

"Head Office" means the registered administrative office of the Company at:

Victoria avenue, Quatre Bornes, MAURITIUS;

“Nominated Bank Account” means the Nominated Bank Account of a Client in

accordance with the Account Betting TERMS AND CONDITIONS;

"Odds" means the amount set, and varied from time to time, by the Company in its

sole and absolute discretion, as the Payout payable for each one hundred rupee of the

Bet in the event the Selection by the Client corresponds with the Result;

"Payout" means the amount payable by the Company to the Client in the event the

Selection by the Client corresponds with the Result including the amount of the

bet. Example: if the Payout is 1000 for a bet of 100, then a bet of Rs 100/-

betting tax will yield a payout of Rs 1,000/-;

"Race" means a horse race organized by the licensed horse racing organizer on

which the company accepts bets;

"Race Number" means the number assigned by the horse racing organizer to a

particular race listed in the fixtures of a meeting to identify that race for purposes

of the Game;

"Race Result" in relation to each applicable Bet Type means the official result as

declared by the licensed horse racing organizer for that horse race;


"Refund" means the return by the Company to the Client of a Bet placed by the

Client in case of a withdrawal announced by the licensed horse racing organizer ;

"Result" means an outcome under a Bet Type derived from an Event Result or a

race Result, as the case may be, that is declared by the licensed horse racing

organizer;

"Schedule of Races" means where the applicable Bet Event relates to a particular

race, the schedule, list or table setting out the races in respect of which the Company

is accepting Bets under the applicable Bet Types as made available by the Company;

"Selection" means any one of the possible outcomes under a Bet Type;

“SMSC” means short message service centre of a mobile network operator;

“Call Centre” means the place situated at Informatics Park – La Tour Koenig –

Mauritius where clients’calls end an bet processed and routed to the Server of the

company where it is hosted. Also where back end services like registration, deposit

and withdrawals are effected, rules are explained, where accounts are clarified and all

other explanation given to clients.;

"Start of Betting" means the time at and date on which the Company begins to

accept Bets in respect of a particular Bet Event;

“Time of Announcement” means the date and time at which the licensed horse

racing organizer declares or announces its decision on how to treat Bets placed on

a race;

"Winning Selection" means a selection that bears on it a Bet in which the Selection

corresponds with the Result.

2. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires:


(a). The Rule headings are for convenient reference only and have no effect in limiting or

extending the language of the provisions to which they refer;

(b). The singular includes the plural and vice versa;

(c). References to a gender include but are not limited to references to any other

gender as the context requires;

(d). A reference to a Rule is a reference to a Rule of these Rules.

(e). References to days, weeks, months or years are to calendar days, weeks, months or

years;

(f). "in writing" means any communication in any written form (SMS) or electronic

means, including but not limited to email, facsimile transmission, letters and

memoranda; and

(g). Where a word or phrase is given a particular meaning, other parts of speech and

grammatical forms of that word or phrase have corresponding meanings.

3. BETTING

3.1 Subject to these Rules, including but not limited to Rules 3.2 and 3.3, the company

may in its sole and absolute discretion, limit a bet to a payout of not less than

one thousand rupees (Rs 1000/-);

3.2 The Company may declare an Event Close in respect of a Bet Event and no Bets

under the Bet Event will be accepted by the Company during the Event Close.

Example: if the government server is down and no bets can be accepted or an

inspection by the licensing Authority during which no transaction shall take place etc.

3.3 The Company may, at any time, subject to its Rules:


(a). Discontinue the acceptance of particular Bets or Bet Types;

(b). Decline to accept a particular Bet or Bet Type;

(c). Accept only part of a Bet placed by a Client;

(d). Vary or decline to accept any Selection; or

(e). Offer a Bet Type only in relation to certain Bet Events and not others, in respect of

any Bet Event, without offering any explanation.

3.4 To place a Bet through the network by his mobile phone:

(a). An SMS bet must be placed as per the format detailed later in these Rules and send

the SMS offer to bet to the company;

(b) The client could also by his mobile phone SMS his bet directly by following the

instructions given by the Automatic Voice Response system;

(c). The client can use his mobile telephone and instruct help desk to place his SMS bet

directly.;

(d) Under all conditions; (a), (b) or (c); the Company shall confirm acceptance of a bet

by an SMS delivered to the SMSC (server) of the client’s network operator which

ultimately transfer same to the client with all the details of the bet/s shall be

included;

(e) The time that the network operator of Client delivers the reply SMS of the company

is immaterial but the client is strongly advised to phone help desk in case he has not

received a reply SMS within reasonable delay of five minutes; and

(f) The help desk teleagent will confirm whether the bet has been accepted or rejected or

if the SMS bet has not already reached the company the teleagent can at the request

of the client input the bet and cause a reply confirming SMS to be sent to the client.


In such circumstance when the late arrival SMS reaches the company it will

automatically be rejected. The conversation between the help desk teleagent and the

client is always recorded.

3.5 The help desk teleagents make recordings of any oral instructions received from the

Account Holder or any other verbal communication. Subject to Rule 3.6, such

verbal recordings shall be conclusive and binding on the Account Holder, regardless

of whether or not the Account Holder was aware that his/her oral instructions were

being recorded by the Company. For the avoidance of doubt, that last recorded

instruction or conversation shall be taken to be the Account Holder’s final oral

instructions which shall be deemed to supersede all other previous oral or SMS

instructions. The Account Holder agrees to be bound by any updates or revisions

made by the Company to the information or data as recorded in the Company’s

computer systems in order to accurately reflect the Account Holder’s or

instructions (whether or not done in response to the Account Holder’s

notification pursuant to Rule 3.7).

3.6 In the absence of the above mentioned verbal recordings, or in the event where the

verbal recordings were incomplete or ambiguous as regards the instruction(s) given

by the Account Holder, the Company shall be entitled to rely on the information or

data as recorded in the Company’s computer systems of Accepted Bets, which

records shall be conclusive and binding on the Account Holder (unless otherwise

disputed by the Account Holder in accordance with Rule 3.7 and rectified by the

Company pursuant to Rule 3.5).

3.7 The Company shall make available to the Account Holder, via the Internet

website of the company and/or any other electronic media, the details of his/her

transactions under the Account as recorded in the Company’s computer systems

(“Transaction Records”). The Account Holder shall be responsible for checking the

Transaction Records for any errors or omissions therein upon the Transaction

Records being made available to the Account Holder on the Internet and/or any

other electronic media, regardless of whether or not the Account Holder has any

actual access to the Internet or other electronic media. It is assumed that the client has

verified his transaction records to be in order for the previous race meeting

when he proceeds to place Bets with the Company for the following meeting. The

client shall bear all risk and responsibilities arising from any errors or omissions in

the Transaction Records of the previous week should he fail to verify the previous

week’s transactions. It is expressly forbidden to place a bet for a current meeting

when there is a dispute for the prior meeting. The Account Holder is required to

notify the Company of any errors in, omissions from or disagreement with the

Transaction Records.

3.8 The client will have a unique secret detail to access his account on the website of the

company. For each transaction of the client on the website, there will be set

out:

(a). The Bet Type;

(b). The particular Bet Event/s in respect of which the Bet is placed;

(c). Where the Bet Event relates to a particular race, the date of that race based on

Mauritius time;

(d). The Selection under that Bet Type;

(e). The Odds at which the Bet has been placed;

(f). The Bet in respect of the chosen selection;

(g). The Payout in the event the Selection corresponds to the Result;

3.10 The Client shall check and verify the accuracy of his transactions on the website, or

request transaction SMS. In the event the Client discovers any error, discrepancy or

inaccuracy, it is the duty of the client to notify the Company . The company will not

be liable or responsible for any error, discrepancy or inaccuracy that is not brought to

its Administration office or help desks attention.

4 BET


4.1 The minimum bet is Rs 5/- and the maximum is one thousand rupees (Rs 1,000/-).

4.2 All bets are tax free.

5 ODDS AND PAYOUTS

5.1 The Company shall determine the Odds and vary the odds from time to time for each

Selection under each Bet Type in respect of all Bet Events for which the Company is

accepting Bets, at the Start of Betting applicable to each Bet Event.

5.2 The maximum potential cumulative winnings per client per meeting will be restricted

to three million rupees (Rs 3,000,000/-).

5. 3 For the avoidance of doubt, the acceptance of a Bet by the Company at a particular

Odd shall not oblige the Company to accept any other Bet upon the same Selection

at the same Odds.

5.4 The Payout in respect of a Bet shall be the amount stated to be the payout which

includes the bet amount. Any variation in the Odds applicable to a particular

Selection in a Bet which takes place after the acceptance of a prior bet by the

Company, shall not affect the Payout payable in respect of all prior bets.

6 THE RESULT

6.1 The Company shall announce the respective Results for all applicable Bet Types in

respect of each Bet Event, as soon as may be reasonably practicable after the

conclusion by the horse racing organiser of the particular race/s or Event to which

the particular Bet Event relates.

6.2 In the event of any disqualification, objection, appeal, official inquiry, application

to amend results or protest of any nature whatsoever in respect of any Bet Event,

Event Result and/or race Result, the Company will follow all directives of the

license horse racing organizer.

7 CLAIM FOR PAYMENT OF PAYOUT / REFUND


7.1 If a Bet placed is a winning one, the Payout will be paid and credited to the

Client’s account in accordance with the Account Betting TERMS AND

CONDITIONS, while any Refund will be paid to the Client by crediting the

Client’s Account with the company.

7.2 Withdrawals must be requested by clients in the prescribed means.

(a). The Company will not pay any withdrawal of money to any person, unless:

(i). The account’s balance of the client is positive; and

(ii). The security details given to the Company complies with all the conditions set out

in these Rules.

7.3 In the event the Client is, after the Company has effected a withdrawal of money to

the Client, discovered, found or proven to have its account with a positive balance by

or as a result of any unlawful or illegal means, and/or the Client is not entitled to be

paid the amount withdrawn, the Company shall be entitled to full restitution from

the Client of all money received (whether directly or indirectly) by the Client from

the Company.

7.4 Nothing in Rule 7.2.4 shall oblige or require the Company to take any action

(whether through court proceedings or otherwise) to recover or seek to recover

any money (of which the Company is entitled to restitution) from anyone to

whom any payment has been made by the Company.


8 REQUIREMENTS FOR VALID WINNING SELECTION / BET

FOR REFUND

8.1 In respect of Bets placed, all Winning Selections and Refund must satisfy all of the

following conditions, in order to qualify for the account of the client/s to be

credited:

(a). The winning selection is officially announced by the horse racing organizer;

(b). The Company's computer systems or servers must contain a record of all of the

particulars of that winning selection or refund, which record must have been

recorded prior to the start of the race;

(c). The Company must not have previously credited the client’s account of the

payout or a Refund in respect of that winning selection or refund by withdrawal of

a horse , based on the particulars recorded in the Company's computer systems or

servers; and

(d). There must have been no breach of any term of these Rules;

8.2 In the event the particulars set out by the client on the Winning selection or for

Refund on the SMS/voice recording/online logs differ from those set out in the

corresponding record in the Company's computer systems or servers, the particulars

set out in the record in the Company's computer systems shall prevail

and shall be binding on the Client.

8.3 The determination by the Company on the compliance of any SMS with Rule 8.1

shall be final and conclusive, and shall be binding on the Client.

8.4 Bets placed in the last minute may or may not reach the company before the start of

the race. All bets received after the closing of bets will be rejected and the non-

acceptance of the bet will be sent to the SMSC server of the client.


8.5 For the avoidance of doubt, this Rule 8 is without prejudice to any other provision

in these Rules setting out any requirements to be satisfied before a Payout or

Refund is payable.

9 WITHDRAWALS / BETS REFUND

9.1 In this Rule 9, unless the context otherwise requires:

(a). “Withdrawal” means:

• Normal withdrawal of a horse

• Withdrawal on pitch

• Horse being declared non runner by the licensed horse racing

organizer

(b) The meeting or part of the meeting is postponed (example after heavy rains or

riots etc)

Under any circumstance, the Rules of racing of the licensed horse racing organizer

shall prevail.

10 PAYMENT OF PAYOUT / REFUND

10.1 The Company shall credit the Payout and Refunds to the client’s account as soon as a

decision has been taken by the licensed horse racing organizer. Example:

announcement of the winner, declaration of withdrawal etc. Withdrawal of money

from a client’s account shall then be effected on such days and in such modes of

payment (whether in cash, or by funds transfer, cheque or bank draft or otherwise) as

per Company’s rules and regulations.

10.2 When the Company has credited the account of the Client of any Payout in

respect of a Winning Selection or a Refund, as the case may be, and that all

balances remaining on the client’s account has been fully paid to the client, this

shall constitute a complete and absolute discharge of the Company's liability in

respect of that client’s account.


11 SPECIAL PROVISIONS

11.1 These Rules constitute the terms and conditions governing the contract between the

Company and the Client/s.

11.2 The Company may amend these Rules from time to time and in any manner.

11.3 The Company, its directors, officers, employees, agents and staffs shall not be liable

for any loss, damage, costs, charges, fees or expenses of whatsoever nature and

howsoever arising, whether direct, indirect, joint, several, actual, contingent or

otherwise suffered, incurred or sustained by a Client in connection with a Bet

for any reason whatsoever, except where the company is clearly and obviously at

fault, partly or fully as may be determined by a court of law.

11.4 The Company shall make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of all

information and statements published or made available by it. However, the

Company shall not be liable or responsible for any errors or omissions in respect of

such information or statements. The Company may, in its sole and absolute

discretion and at any time, correct errors in such information or statements.

11.5 The Company makes no representation of any kind whatsoever about its computer

systems and servers used in the conduct of the Game.

11.6 The Company will not recognize any interest in respect of any joint account. Joint

account is prohibited and account by a company is also not allowed. Account

must be solely in the name of an individual of more than 18 years old.

11.7 It is the duty of the client not to register a mobile phone number which is within the

reach of a minor.


11.8 A Client represents and warrants to the Company that he will not, by participating

in the Game and/or placing Bets under these Rules, be placed in a position of

actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest in any manner.

11.9 A Client by placing a Bet or presenting a Winning selection or for making a claim for

Refund for an Accepted Bet: (a). agrees to be bound by, and acknowledges the

validity and enforceability of, these Rules;

11.10 These Rules (including the Appendices hereto) shall be governed by, subject to

and interpreted in all respects in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of

Mauritius.

11.11 The Courts of the Republic of Mauritius shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any

and all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Rules, including but not

limited to disputes as to the validity or interpretation of these Rules.

12. OPENING ACCOUNTS

A. To open an account, a client must be at least 18 years old;

B. Visit our website and register online but client has 30 days to fax or return the

downloaded signed agreement portion by mail to us. No withdrawal is possible

until completion of registration;

C. Fill in the registration form , sign it and hand it over together with copy of your ID

card or copies of first two pages of your passport to our appointed agent. A mail

confirmation will be sent to you. In case you do not receive such mail confirmation,

please phone the company.

D. A client can choose to deal in any currency but he shall bet in that currency he

registered.

E. An account can only be opened in the name of an individual. Business names and

joint account are not accepted or a corporate legal entity cannot open an account.


F. SMS the company and an agent will revert back to you to get you registered.

G. At the discretion of the company, a client may be allowed to register during a

recorded telephone conversation.

H. All account holders must fill an official company registration form within 28 days of

their first deposit.

I. The client must register the primary SIM which must be in his own name if he

shall bet also by sms.

J. Upon registration the client shall be issued a customer ID and he shall be allowed

to choose his own password.

12.1 Putting Money into Your Account

A. By making a transfer through Western Union.

B. By going through Moneybookers from our website.

C. By requesting any adult to make deposit into your account. An sms confirmation will

instantly be sent to you.

D. By other means which are acceptable to the company.

E. By bank direct transfer into our account.

F. By sending a bank’s draft to the company.

FOR ANY DEPOSIT IF THE CLIENT DOES NOT RECEIVE AN SMS OR A MAIL

CONFIRMING THE DEPOSIT FROM THE COMPANY, IT IS THE DUTY OF THE CLIENT

TO PHONE HELP DESK.


12.2 Withdrawing Money from Your Account

A. By a company’s cheque to the stated mailing address of the client. The company

accepts no liability for loss of cheque at the stated address.

B. By instructing the company to credit a bank's account in the client's name.

C. By Western Union. The company accepts no liability for loss should the account

holder provide any inaccurate information.

D. By instructing the company for collection from an agent. The company accepts no

liability for loss should the account holder provide any inaccurate information.

12.3 Verifying Your Transactions

A. After each meeting, you can request your balance which will be given to you with

your last five transactions by SMS.

B. You can request by SMS to send all transactions of the meeting to your email

address.

C. You can visit our website and view all your transactions.

D. You can also request all your transactions to be forwarded to you by post.

E. By calling our help desk.

12.4 Proofs of Bets Accepted

A. An sms bet is deemed to have been accepted if a confirmation SMS sent to the client

has reached the SMSC of the network operator irrespective when that confirmation

reaches the client .

B. For a telephonic bet, the recorded conversation is the only proof of bet. After 30

days , tapes are deleted and voice would no longer be available.

C. For internet bet, acceptance is done on line.


D. The client playing by sms can phone help desk if he has not received an sms

confirmation bet acceptance after five minutes that the bet has been placed.

12.5 Types of Games Offered and Applicable Rules for sms bettors

R = Race H = Horse NO = No withdrawal /normal

S1 = Bet placed after first withdrawal/s

S2 = Bet placed after second withdrawal/s

S3 = Bet placed after third withdrawal/s

• R1 = 1 = Request odds or results of race 1

• R1R2 = 12 = Request odds or results of race 1 and 2

• refers to a space,

• r?h? refers to your chosen race number and horse number

• Dead Heats Rule states that the payout is divided by the number of horses in

the dead heats.

• Withdrawal on pitch Rule states that the payout is reduced by the % deduction

as approved by the horse racing organizer , and bets on the withdrawn horse are

refunded.

• Non runners Rule states that the payout is reduced by the % deduction as

announced by the horse racing organizer and bets on the non runner is refunded.

• Multiple bets means betting on selection/s across several events. Example

Double, Treble, Four folds and so on.


All odds are available on request. The company may impose a condition that the

minimum amount for every multiple in any bet type other than single shall not be less

than Rs 5/-.

A Single / Straight Win Bet

Minimum bet R5. Example client picks race 3 and horse 5 and bet Rs 5/-.

Client SMS: 5r3h5

B Each Way Bet

If the number of horses is 9/10/11, PLACE means three best ranked horses. If number

of horses is 7/8, PLACE means two best ranked horses. Place odds will be

determined by the company for any particular race/horse. Example: Client chooses to

bet Rs 5/- each way on race2 horse3.

Client SMS: 5r?h?ew

This means Rs 2.50/- goes on win, Rs 2.50/- goes on place. In a 9 horse race, if 1

horse is withdrawn on pitch or otherwise, PLACE is based on 8 horse race. In a 7

and refunded but the win part holds good.

the correct order for a specified race, or your two horses finishing in a dead

heat for the first place (dead heat rule applicable).

13. ACCOUNT RULES

A. No bets will be accepted if there is insufficient money available in the client’s

account.

B. When the amount payable is material, the company reserves the right to pay by a

company's cheque.

D. It is the duty of the client to verify that his account balance agrees with the

balance supplied by the company with each SMS transaction before effecting

another bet or if he is betting by telephone that the balance being read to him is

correct.

14. SERVICE AGREEMENT

A. The Rules are subject to change without prior notice.

B. An sms bet is validly placed when it has been accepted and the

confirmation/acceptance has been posted to the SMSC of the network operator.

C. The odd is the one when bet accepted.

D. We are not liable for unauthorized persons using SIM/s, security codes of clients.

E. A client can register up to 6 phones but must compulsorily declare one

PRIMARY. A phone used by a minor must not be registered.

F. Company may refuse any bet with payout over Rs 1000/- and adjust the bet to yield a

minimum payout Rs 1000/- which would be confirmed by the acceptance SMS or

over the phone conversation if betting by phone.

I. Minimum bet is Rs 5/-. Maximum bet is Rs 50,000/- .

bet not reaching the company or in telecommunication failure when betting by

phone or internet.


15. ACCEPTANCE OF BETS

No bet can be cancelled once accepted by us. The point of acceptance of a bet is

when the SMS acceptance reaches the SMSC of the network operator irrespective

when the SMS acceptance is actually received on the client’s mobile phone or

when the client has confirmed his bet by phone. All bets stand once accepted whether

the customer is on-line or off-line.

16. CANCELLING A BET

Once you have placed your bet and we have accepted your bet and that SMS

acceptance has reached the SMSC of the network operator, it is too late to cancel the

bet.

17. ERRORS

PARIAZ LTD makes every effort to ensure that we do not make errors in accepting

bets. However, if as a result of human error or system problems a bet is accepted

at an odd that is:

(i). materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet

was made; or

(ii). clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was

made then PARIAZ LTD will pay winnings at the correct price.

To establish the correct price PARIAZ LTD will consider prices available in the

general market at the time the bet was made, including the prices offered by

other bookmakers on average. Example of circumstance where this would apply is

when the price is recorded as 100-1 while the price on offer in the general market is

10-1.

18. FRAUD

PARIAZ LTD will seek criminal and contractual sanctions against any customer

involved in fraud, dishonesty or criminal acts. PARIAZ LTD will withhold payment

to any customer where any of these are suspected. The customer shall indemnify and


shall be liable to pay to PARIAZ LTD, on demand, all costs, charges or losses

sustained or incurred by PARIAZ LTD (including any direct, indirect or consequential

losses, loss of profit and loss of reputation) arising directly or indirectly from the

customer’s fraud, dishonesty or criminal act.

19. ACCOUNT CORRECTIONS

PARIAZ LTD has the right to recover from you any amount overpaid and to adjust

your account to reflect the true outcome and rectify any mistake. An example of such

a mistake might be where a price is incorrect or where we enter a result of an event

incorrectly.

20. DISPUTES

Any dispute or difference that arises out of or in connection with the Contract shall be

determined by the present rules and regulations. In the event, the matter is not settled

partly or wholly, the matter shall be referred for arbitration to a panel agreed by both

parties. The fees are payable by the party at fault. If, notwithstanding the above, the

customer issues Court proceedings, PARIAZ LTD reserves the right to apply to a

judge in chambers praying to stay those proceedings pending determination by the

PANEL.

21 WITHDRAWALS (HOW BETS ARE TREATED)

(a).(i). In the case of a race, where betting re-opens anew, only the selection where the

horse/horses do not participate will be cancelled and the bets refunded.

(ii). In the case of a race, where betting re-opens anew whereby the horse in any

selection is itself a non runner, all selection in which there is the referred horse

will be cancelled and bets refunded. Thus, in any type of bets, the multiples

containing the non runner will change into the next multiple down the grid. Example

an 8 folds becomes a seven folds , a double becomes a single and so on.

(b). In the case where there is a % deduction on the payout of the race, that % is

applicable to only that race in any multiple.


22. DEAD HEATS

"Dead heat" is a term that generally describes when two horses in an event tie for

first and second place. If a "dead-heat" is declared on any event, the payout is

divided by 2. If more than two "dead-heat", the bet is proportioned accordingly.

23. WIN

If two or more horses dead heat for first place, then each horse in the dead heat is a

winner.

24. PLACE

If two horses dead heat for first place, they fill the first two best ranked places. If

three horses dead heat for first place, they fill the first three best ranked places,

and so on.

25. NON RUNNERS

In the event of a non runner, the payouts are reduced in accordance with the %

deduction in force. All bets on a horse declared a non runner are cancelled and

bets will be refunded.

26. LAW 26.1 These Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Mauritius and you

irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
