If you know of a family who might be interested in our school, please ask them to call the office. BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Box Tops need to be turned into classrooms by February 25th. Please make sure they are not expired. Please continue to scan your receipts for electronic box tops. SPAGHETTI DINNER FUNDRAISER: The annual 5th Grade Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be held on March 10, 2020. This is the sole fundraiser for Science Camp. The tickets were sent home with the students. We appreciate your support by selling or purchasing tickets. Ticket cost is $12.00 each. ANNIE’S ANGELS: 6th – 8th grade students are welcome to help prepare and serve dinner at the Salvation Army Hope Harbor Shelter on Wednesday, February 12th from 3:45 – 5:30 pm. The shelter is located at 622 N. Sacramento St. A permission slip is required of all participants. PRESIDENTS’ DAY HOLIDAY: Monday, February 17th is the Presidents’ Day Holiday. No school ATTENTION PARENTS: The bell rings at 8:00am, the front door closes at 8:00am students arriving after 8:00am are considered tardy and need to report to the school office with a parent to get a tardy slip. REPORT CARDS: February 21st is the end of the 2nd trimester. Report cards will be available online soon after for grades 1 – 8. All payments and fees need to be paid current in order to have online access to report cards. If this causes a hardship on anyone please see Mrs. Mar. READ TO SUCCEED PROGRAM: The deadline to turn in the e-Reading Logs is March 2nd, 2020. Late entrees are not accepted. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Newton, [email protected]. The class with the largest number of participants will earn a special treat. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2020 - 2021: The first day of school for the 2020-2021 School Year will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Registration day will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, please mark your calendars. SCRIP REPORTS: The SCRIP fiscal year ends on April 30th. Scrip totals are available upon request by sending an email to Mrs. Precissi at [email protected]. TUITION ASSISTANCE: EVERYONE REQUESTING TUITION ASSISTANCE MUST USE “FACTS”. All tuition assistance applications are due by March 5th. Any applications which are incomplete/not verified on March 15th will not be eligible for assistance. Recipients of the 2020/21 SEEDS tuition assistance will be notified by the school administrator in early June. To apply for assistance please go to their website at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. If you currently have a FACTS account, please use your login information. UNIFORM CHANGE: The end of the 2nd trimester will be Friday, February 21st. Students will be allowed to wear shorts as of Monday, February 24th with exception of Wednesdays for Mass. Dickies brand shorts are not acceptable shorts. Please remember that girl’s shorts need to be no shorter than 2 inches from the middle of the knee, and boy’s shorts need to be worn above the knee. Solid white crew socks must be worn at all times, ankle and no show socks are not acceptable socks. 200 S.
