Paragon Takes The Lead with a Radio Comms Network available for ALL LICENSED PREMISES

at the Viaduct and Downtown Area

In a welcome initiative in downtown Auckland, Paragon has introduced a door to door radio communications (“RT”) network that can link security in all licensed establishments.

We believe this initiative, supported by Showcase Hospitality, will become an industry standard operating procedure and Paragon is proud to lead the way.

This service is offered to all Bars and Clubs irrespective of their security provider and you can either rent or lease an RT from us for your Head Crowd Controller to communicate with every other premise on the network, or Paragon will provide the frequency and radio provider for premise owners to buy their own and connect themselves.

The aim is simple; to turn the downtown area of Auckland into a fully security linked precinct enabling head Crowd Controllers and other guard providers to intercept problems and to proactively act against potential problems before they occur.

This initiative has been welcomed by the Police and Cityguard. We have offered a free radio to Police to enable a direct communication link between Police and Cityguard and all the linked Head Crowd Controllers. This means that all the linked premises will be interfaced and able to communicate to the existing Auckland CCTV camera network operators as well as the police.

When you hire Paragon to provide door security, we will at no extra cost, ensure our Head Crowd Controller is provided with a radio (value $1,300) and linked up to the Precinct network.

The obvious benefits will enhance security, will alert other premises to moving problems and potential violations and there are the obvious savings that come with scale.

be enforced severely from the

turn of the year.

VINNIE’S VINE The real juice

Hi Everyone My boss has insisted on copying below my statement to Police in regard to an incident two weeks ago when I was on my way home from checking on my bars and clubs. “On the early hours of Sunday 4th November, whilst driving home from work at about 6:45am, I spotted three peo-ple on the side of the road seemingly in the midst of an altercation. As I neared them, I realized that one of the per-son's involved was a male of Indian descent who was evidently being attacked physically by two young men who looked to be of Polynesian descent. I quickly sped to the scene and pulled over to the edge of the sidewalk where the incident was occurring. As I ran and shouted for the two young men to stop, they quickly left the badly beaten man and fled the scene. I immediately grasped the victim and lifted him to my car. We drove off to the nearest petrol station where I stopped off so I could ring an ambulance. After ringing the ambulance, I left him in the care of the staff at the petrol station. I then pursued to trace down the attackers. Fortunately I was able to track them down. I called the police to inform them of the attackers destination. I then waited until police arrived and both offenders were arrested.

Attached are the two videos of the police arriving and arresting the offenders at Britomart. I also managed to stop over at the BP station where I dropped the victim off, shortly after the offenders were arrested. Here are some information I gathered up on that day….”
