COACHING STAFF Puma Soccer
Ivan Dizdar joined the Puma Soccer program in 2017 after stints at both the college and high school levels. A graduate of Thunderbird High School, he attended Yavapai College where he played two years and won back-to-back NJCAA National Championships in 2007 and 2008. He continued his soccer career and education at Seattle University. Ivan continued his playing career with Arizona Impact, a semi-pro indoor team, for one year and also played professional soccer in Croatia for two years. Ivan started his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Seattle University. He then became the head coach of boys’ varsity at
Thunderbird High School and was named Coach of the Year. After leaving THS, he moved to Scottsdale Prep Academy to coach the girls’ varsity team, where he remains today. In 2016, Ivan was an assistant coach at his alma mater Yavapai. He has also served as the Director of Coaching for the Yavapai Soccer Club, as well as a coach with the North Scottsdale Soccer Club. Ivan holds a UEFA B Coaching license. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Seattle University and a Master’s Degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Ivan was born in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
Ryan Beasley ASSISTANT COACH Ryan Beasley joined the women’s soccer program in 2018 as an assistant coach. Ryan was born in Lincoln, England and moved to the United States in 2010 on a soccer scholarship at Bellevue University in Nebraska. While in college, Ryan coached for the Nebraska Olympic Development Program (ODP). After college, he played for the St. Louis Lions (PDL) a semiprofessional team. After a year with the Lions, Ryan moved back to England to play semiprofessional soccer at Lincoln United in the Evo Stick Premier Division. In 2018 Ryan moved to Arizona
and coached for SC Del Sol. He is currently coaching at Amore Soccer Academy. Ryan holds a USSF D License.

Brittany Elliot ASSISTANT COACH
Brittany Elliott joined the women’s soccer program in 2017 as an assistant coach. Brittany was born and raised in Arizona, where she started her soccer career at the age of four. She played three years while attending Centennial High School and also played for Alliance and Sereno. Throughout her club career, she participated in the Olympic Developmental Program where she attended their regional camps. Upon graduation from Centennial Brittany received a scholarship to
Les-McRae College in North Carolina. Returning to AZ due to injury, she attended Glendale Community College, where she played her sophomore year. From GCC, Brittany transferred to ASU West where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Brittany is currently working on her Master’s Degree at Grand Canyon University, specializing in Professional Counseling.
Robert Gittins ASSISTANT COACH
Robert Gittins joined the women’s soccer program in 2018 as an assistant coach, specializing in Goalkeeping. Robert comes to the Pumas after coaching the Yavapai Recreational Teams and Competitive Teams for the last seven years. Robert holds a USSF "D" License.
