FADE IN:EXT. SPACE

A vast and empty void. Deep, cold, filled with tiny stars that expand into infinite space.

EXT. LV-223 – DAY

Grey clouds fill the murky skies of the empty, rocky planet. Lightning bolts stab the desolate mountains followed by deep rumbles of thunder, filling the alien air with a natural chorus. No sign of life, nothing but rocks and harsh weather; a lonely planet.

A small shadow slides across the dead rocks and wispy clouds that cling low to the planet's surface almost like fog.

The atmosphere is soon disturbed by the arrival of a bulky emergency rescue ship descending from the heavens. High above the barren wasteland the ship glides, slowly, and cautiously.

Down its red and yellow exterior we read the name SAMARITAN.

INT. SAMARITAN, COCKPIT.

Six of eight crew members are all sat focused on scanning the distorted landscape below. Everyone is strapped into their chairs not saying a word.

In this enclosed space the ship rocks violently from some turbulence, this sparks some excitement from the crew.

The ship’s heavily built captain, a 47 year old man named Richard Cross frowns.

CROSSAnything yet Frank?

Frank Doyle, the ship’s 34 year old co-pilot, shakes his head.

FRANKI’d say we’re close, I’ve gota distorted signal, but its coming in weak. Could be fromthe Prometheus.

Page 3: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

3.

CROSSAll channels open. Let’s home in on that signal.

Lisa Boerinth, the ships confident 30 year old navigator and paramedic, checks to see if all the channels are open.

BOERINTHAll channels are open. Head around this mountain. I’m reading a level plain nearby.Could be a valley.

FRANK (V.O)Okay, now the signal’s hot!

CROSSBring her around carefully.

EXT. LV-223 – SKY.

The Samaritan purrs gently through thick clouds, still descending. Lightning bolts ignite close to the ship, piercing the bleak landscape below.

The ship banks around a mountain peak. It turns gracefully in mid air to face a new direction. Ahead of the ship is large valley that cuts through the mountainous region around it. Familiar to us but alien to the crew of the Samaritan.

A series of dome structures are seen lining the middle of the valley. Each dome supporting huge skulls, like carvings into the rock, some more frightening than others; weathered rocks reveal the skulls are built from something else. Two giant holes are seen in the ground, plunging deep into the earth. Like colossal airlocks for the planet.

At the far end of all this is the crashed Juggernaut surrounded by the scattered wreckage of the Prometheus. The Samaritan glides overhead, its engines roaring as it comes to a halt above the devastation below.

INT. SAMARITAN - COCKPIT.

FRANKJesus Christ. What is this place?

BOERINTHWho built those structures?

Page 4: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

4.

CROSSFocus people! We’re here to find survivors. Company orders.

BOERINTHTh-those were built by humans right?

FRANKThe signal is coming from below us. God help us.

BOERINTHThrough the external video feed I think I can see where the signal is coming from. The Prometheus lifeboat is below us.

Unbuckling himself from his seat, the ships android and maintenance officer Edward [the same model as David 8 except with short brown hair] slowly approaches the window to get a good look at the remains of the Prometheus.

CROSSEdward?

EDWARDIt’s okay Captain. I would like to see it.

The Samaritan’s chief paramedic, a macho 45 year old man called Calvin Halls, turns to the Captain.

HALLSWe should land and search for survivors.

CROSSWe can’t do that and you know it.If we land whatever happened to the Prometheus could happen to us. We have directives to follow first.

The Captain unclasps himself from his cockpit chair and joins Edward at the Window.

CROSSEdward, are you okay buddy?

EDWARD

Page 5: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

5.

There’s no sign of anyone.

Towards the back of the cockpit a voice is heard; 29 year old Harry Anderson, the ships engineering technician.

ANDERSONWhat’s going on Captain? Arewe landing or what?

Turning to address his crew Richard Cross seems agitated.

CROSSRegulations state that we must remain airborne until the situation is deemed safe for our descent.

ANDERSONDon’t like the look of it Cap?I don't blame you.

HALLS (V.O)I do.

CROSSThe Prometheus is peppered across the planet. No, I wanna see if there is another way of checking for survivors, before I even contemplate landing. Use the bio-scanners to see if there’s any life down there.

FRANKScanning now.

Everyone in the cockpit silently listens to the clicking and chattering of the computer as the Samaritan scans the surface for life. After a few minutes a buzzing sound rings out.

CROSSAnything?

Frank stares into the monitor with a confused look upon his face. Cross comes over to join him.

CROSSWhat is it?

FRANKAbsolutely nothing.

Page 6: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

6.

Still stood at the window Edward studies the debris outside. Nothing of the Prometheus is familiar except a burnt engine and the life boat itself.

EDWARDNothing.

ANDERSON(staring into monitor)

What is that large hole in the ground? Did somethingcome out from that?

CROSSIgnore the strange surroundings for now, our priority is finding anyone alive. Sound the horns and fire up some flares, I wanna see if anyone comes out to see what all the noise is.

FRANKI’m on it.

EXT. LV-223 – SKY.

The Samaritan suddenly makes a sound like a deep trumpet. The horn echoes for miles over the dusty landscape of the inhospitable planet. The horn sounds several more times and at the same time dozens of green flares fire out from various positions along the Samaritan’s hull. The green flares flutter to the ground below, burning away on the rocks of LV-223.

INT. SAMARITAN - COCKPIT -- 2 HOURS LATER

Most of the crew are deep with the ship’s hull. Only Cross, Frank, Lisa, and Edward remain.

CROSSTime?

FRANK1 hour 56 minutes since we blew the horn.

BOERINTHStill nothing.

EDWARDNothing.

Page 7: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

7.

Everyone looks at Edward.

EDWARD (CONT’D)I think it’s safe to land, Captain.

CROSSI’m sorry Edward but we’renot landing on this planet.

Edward looks confused. From behind the glare of his console Frank clicks his fingers.

FRANKCaptain.

CROSSYeah?

FRANKThat signal we received is a series of broken down voice recordings from the Prometheus. I’m just decoding them now.

CROSSHow long will it take?

FRANK Maybe an hour or so.

CROSSOkay, call me on the com when it’s done. I want to brief the rest of the crew.

INT. SAMARITAN – MESS

All the crew are spread about the mess deck, sitting on chairs and table tops, some are leaning up against the wall. Richard Cross is already stood at the front of the room with his arms folded waiting for the last member of the crew to arrive – Sarah Breaker, the ships psychologist.

SARAHSorry I’m late.

CROSSThat’s fine just take a seat.

ANDERSON

Page 8: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

8.

So two years of travelling fornothing right Captain?

CROSSJust to recap people, we were hired by the company to investigate the disappearance of the discovery vessel. This morning we found the wreckage of that ship.

ANDERSONAny ideas what kind of troublethey got into?

CROSSWe don’t know yet but Frank is now decoding some scattered voice recordings that were picked up by our ship when we arrived. It’s what we initially homed in on.Maybe it’ll shed some light on what happened here.

Throwing his hands in the air Halls stands up.

HALLSWhat a waste of fucking time.

EDWARDI’m disappointed that we’re not landing Captain. A full investigation is in order.

CROSSNot until we decode that signal, and Halls keep it together.

HALLSStop screwin' with us. I can read you more than anyoneelse. You know something aboutall this.

CROSSI'd only be repeating what I said during the briefing in orbit.

HALLSBullshit. All you said was the name of the damn ship and that

Page 9: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

9.

a group of scientists had come here. I'm inclined to think you know more.

ANDERSONWe're a rescue party remember? Keep calm until we have all the facts.

HALLSThere's no one to rescue! This is a graveyard. Richard has us here because the company bought him out.

SARAHMay I say something?

CROSSGo ahead.

SARAHWe all need to focus, cabin fever can grip the human mind deep in space too. Now your Captain hired me because he understood the gravity of this mission. The Prometheus was the most expensive ship to date, I was originally contracted to go on that mission but was pulled out when I spent four days in medical after coming down with the flu. Richard thought it'd be wise I come along because Iwas told the nature of the Prometheus mission was, well let's say... (pause)psychologically traumatisingand thought it'd be a good ideaI keep everyone in check so thismission doesn't become P.T.Halls you need to keep calm.

HALLSSo you also know more about this rescue mission.

41 year old Medical officer, Peter Jones wipes the sweat from his forehead with his flight suit sleeve.

Page 10: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

10.

JONESAm I the only one who is freakingout here? They're dead let's just head home. We've been paid. --Job done.

CROSSNot until we know what happened here.

BOERINTHWhy are you freaking out Jones? You're a medical officer shouldn't your priorities be to help those in need?

JONESI've heard its not just a destroyed ship that's out there.

SARAHDon't think about it too much. As your Captain has advised the best thing to do right now is stay calm and focused on the mission. We still don't know if there are any survivors, only the decoded voice recordings can help. If you feel terror or paranoid pinch your nose and slowly breathe in deep, through your mouth, for two minutes.

CROSSYou got that everyone? Halls?

HALLSSounds like bullshit.

Captain Richard Cross strides over to Halls and squares up to him. Both men locks eyes.

CROSSWith your history I thought this would be a breeze for you.

HALLSI used to be part of a crew thatactually saved lives, before you sold our company to Weyland Corp,

Page 11: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

11.

before you retrofitted the ship with company tech and brought aboard people who say they're here to prevent panic but do nothing but cause it.

CROSSAnderson, Edward, escort Calvin to his quarters to cool off.

Edward nods to Anderson, who looks nervous, the two begin to approach Halls who lights a cigarette in his mouth.

HALLSI'll save you two monkeys the time.

Calvin Halls leaves the room with Edward and Anderson following behind, leaving Cross, Sarah, Lisa and Peter Jones sitting around feeling awkward.

Lisa Boerinth leans forward sitting on a chair around the table in the centre of the room.

BOERINTHYou know he expressed his doubts about this mission before we left gateway? -- Why did you hire him back?

CROSSBecause he's the best paramedic in the field. We need him if things go wrong.

JONESI wouldn't trust him.

INT. SAMARITAN – CORRIDOR – D DECK CREW QUARTERS

Halls is leaning up against the wall smoking with his eyes shut as Anderson lectures him. Edward is stood in between the two men listening intently to each word.

ANDERSONI might be the youngest guyaboard but I can tell when someone is being an arse.

Halls opens one of his eyes and chuckles.

Page 12: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

12.

ANDERSON (CONT'D)I know what happened betweenyou and Richard was unforgivable but Calvin, as a friend, you need to see the bigger picture here. Before you fuck everything up.

HALLSHarry, what bigger picture?

EDWARDBigger picture?

ANDERSONWe're on a planet covered inalien structures.

HALLSMan-made...probably.

ANDERSONAnd what if they're not? Come on,that's got to ring some alarm bells. This isn't a normal rescue operation.

EDWARDI sense that the Captain, and maybe Ms. Sarah, are keeping vital information from us. I saw it in their facial movements.

HALLS(raising an eyebrow)

You can do that?

EDWARD (SMILING)

Humans are easy pickings.

HALLSYou two forget, at the beginning of my little outburst I asked El'Capitan to tell us everything he knows.

EDWARDAt which point he shrugged it off.

ANDERSON

Page 13: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

13.

Yeah that's right he did.

HALLSAnd what is with his refusal to land on this rock? If we're a rescue party, shouldn't we get hands on down there? Analyse the pieces.

EDWARDHe has ducked us several times on that subject.

ANDERSONWhat would you do next Edward?

Thinking about it for a moment Edward scratched his chin and then patted Halls across the back.

EDWARDI'd let them make the nextmove.

INT. SAMARITAN, COCKPIT. –- 1 HOUR LATER

The entire crew are packed into the cramped space of the cockpit. All are stood intently listening to Frank, except for Halls who keeps looking at Cross trying to read his emotions the way Edward read it earlier. Cross pays no attention to Halls as Frank turns to the crew...

FRANKIt's ready.

CROSSPut it through the overhead speakers.

Frank leans forward and presses play. For a moment there's nothing but a few hums and clicks from the machinery that fills the cockpit. After 30 seconds a fuzzy, broken, voice is heard coming through the speakers – the voice of Dr. Elisabeth Shaw. However she sounds run down, upset and almost angry.

SHAWI - mentioned – previous report, we set out to LV-223 to find clues to man's greatest question. The artefacts Charlie and I found

Page 14: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

14.

back on Earth proved we had humanoid creators. B-but what we found here was not our creators but our judges. Well, that's what David 8 theorizes.

Cross and the others all look at one another as Shaw break down crying through the speakers.

EDWARDDavid 8 was an android. Aprevious version of myself.

Cross and Halls both look at Edward.

SHAW (CONT'D)So much has happened over the last three days...I miss him so much. I miss a lot of them. I'm exhausted. (static hiss)No one will know of the Captain's bravery and how he saved Earth from an evolutionary Armageddon. Janek, Chance, and Ravel, we owe them everything. David is still operating, I've managed to crudely tape his head into place before we go to where they came from...“Paradise.”I'll patch him up, with his instruction after we've- (static hiss)Their weapon, the black liquid, is an unpredictable by-product of something - Stay away! Don't bring it back to Earth. Please -

(more static)Peter Weyland was on board, hiding from us. He's dead.

Edward's expression drops as he learns about the death of his creator.

SHAW (CONT'D)Final report of the vessel Prometheus. The ship and her entire crew are gone. If you're receiving this

Page 15: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

15.

transmission, make no attempt to come to its point of origin. There is only death here now, and I'm leaving it behind. It is New Year's Day, the year of our Lord, 2094. My name is Elisabeth Shaw, last survivor of the Prometheus. And I am still searching.

Silence. The crew of the Samaritan look at one another contemplating what to say next. Frank presses a button to stop the recording from repeating. The words linger in their minds for a while before Cross picks up the courage to speak.

CROSSIs that everything?

FRANKFrom the sound of the static there's more. I'll have to workat it a little longer.

BOERINTHHumanoid creators?

JONESWhat the hell?

CROSSElisabeth Shaw? Sarah anything on her?

SARAHWhen I was brought aboard no one mentioned any information concerning other crew members.

CROSSNothing?

SARAHAll I know is this, from the sound of her voice she is telling the truth.

JONESEvolutionary Armageddon? Did anyone else hear that part?

Page 16: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

16.

ANDERSONWe all heard it.

EDWARDMr. Weyland is dead?

JONESSo we're getting out of hereright? We haven't landed let'sjust go home.

FRANKCaptain?

All eyes turn to Richard Cross who is stood, eyes pinned to the monitor screen in front of Frank. He doesn't answer the crew straight away, instead he keeps re-reading the words that flash across the screen – MESSAGE END.

BOERINTHCaptain are we leaving?

CROSSYes.

EXT. LV-223 – SKY.

The Samaritan engines burst to life. The huge rescue vessel slowly ascends into the grey clouds leaving behind the remains of the Prometheus and the dome structures that fill the valley of death.

EXT. LV-223 ORBIT.

The Samaritan zooms out from the hellish atmosphere of the planet. Thunder storms and violent winds batter the ship as it makes it's escape.

CROSSLevel at 0.40.

FRANKSome choppy water aheadbut she should hold.

BOERINTHI'm reading something strange.

FRANKAnother signal. It's been

Page 17: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

17.

coming in for about an hour.

CROSSForget signals for nowand concentrate on my ship.

FRANK Angle at 76. Pressure holding.

CROSSThat's it! That's it!

FRANKOrbital clearance inbound.

EXT. SAMARITAN – FLIGHT.

Eventually the ship breaks free of the alien weather and enters the cool, silent blackness of space. Stars become visible and LV-223 slowly fades into the distance.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

CROSSThat's it, rest her here. I think we need a bit of timeto go over what we've learnt, before we sleep for anothertwo years.

FRANK She's stationary Captain.

CROSSRight, I order everyone to eat.

INT. SAMARITAN CORRIDOR – C DECK

Cross is heading towards the centre of the ship towards his quarters when Halls runs up behind him and stops him.

HALLSHey, Richard!

CROSSYes Calvin.

HALLSLook I just wanted to sayI'm sorry for acting likea prick earlier.

Page 18: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

18.

CROSSWell...thank you.

HALLSAfter hearing that message fromthe Prometheus I figured maybewe should put our past behind us.

Halls puts out a hand and Cross shakes it.

CROSSCalvin, you don't have to like it, but you're the best there is in your field, and I wouldn't have second best aboard my ship. Especially concerning company business of this nature.

HALLSAnd what nature is that?

The Captain doesn't answer, just stares at Halls with a look of annoyance.

HALLS (CONT'D)Do you trust me?

CROSSI've never taken you for a liar.Yes, I trust you.

HALLSSo is there anything else that the crew needs to know? What we'velearnt isn't disposable information, it's sensitive company material. We're here to help but we need to know every little detail. Come on,I'm asking nicely.

CROSSI don't think the company knows their CEO took off. Or that he wasalive after all these years. All they were aware of was his ramblings of finding a God and seeking answers. Look, you know as much as I do now. Weyland Corp approached us because we're...

Page 19: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

19.

HALLSExpendable?

CROSSThe best.

HALLSRight.

CROSSGo and eat Calvin. I'll bewith you in a moment.

INT. SAMARITAN – CROSS'S QUARTERS

Cross presses the button to open the door to his quarters. Although small the Captain's quarters are furnished with small plastic plants, and pictures of his two children scattered across the walls. The Captain closes the door behind him and takes off his jacket setting it aside.

He sits down on the soft mattress of his bed and stares at the wall opposite. Deep in thought the Captain turns and looks at the pictures on the wall. He then pulls some of them down to reveal a big poster of Earth hidden behind his family photos.

CROSS(whispering)

What am I doing?

INT. SAMARITAN – MESS

The rest of the crew are sat around the large table eating various meals. Lots of litter and used packaging is thrown about the table as the crew talk about what they had discovered on LV-223.

ANDERSONSo we're going home withthe knowledge that Weyland was on board the Prometheus, they had discovered another life form and a weapon which could change all life on Earth.

JONESThis is too much.

BOERINTHI'm not hungry.

Page 20: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

20.

JONESShe said they found God out here.

ANDERSONShe said “humanoid creators.”

JONESRight!

SARAHDo any of you believe in god?

ANDERSONNo, we're all just energy.

JONESI don't know what to think but just the idea of hell is enough to make me fear the unknown.

ANDERSONCry baby.

FRANKI'm an atheist.

BOERINTHAnd how do you feel?

FRANKOn edge.

SARAHI believe in god.

BOERINTHAnd how is our psychologist coping with the discovery of our creators?

SARAHNo different to yesterday. Thesecreators are a physical entity within our universe. So who created them?

FRANKThere's not enough evidence to start saying god has been discovered.

Page 21: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

21.

ANDERSONLet's say the gods were real and the crew of the Prometheus found them... (pauses for effect)I believe science would be able to explain god's mechanism. Shaw did say they were humanoidafter all.

SARAHExactly my point, the real God would be beyond human comprehension.

ANDERSONMaybe not our god. Halls what do you make of all this?

HALLSI don't think we should be heading to Earth.

JONESWhat?

FRANKWhat the hell are you talking about?

HALLSWith what we've discovered you think the company are going to leave us alone?

JONESSo what?

HALLSYou all heard what ElisabethShaw said in the message: There's a weapon on that planet that could change everything. If the company finds out about it and wish to exploit it who knows what could happen.

JONESNo, we're going home.

BOERINTH

Page 22: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

22.

I'm with Halls.

HALLSMaybe the company wanted us to land there, they wantedto see what would happen.

FRANKJesus Christ. You're full of shit.

SARAHThe company knows nothing.

HALLSWhy didn't they send a hugeteam? Why approach us?

FRANKCalvin we've got Shaw'smessage recorded. We can play it to them when we'vedocked back home. No onewill want to come here.

ANDERSONHalls is right, that won't stop them.

SARAHYou're just being paranoid.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT

Cross wanders into the cockpit alone. He is in deep thought. His hands glide over the controls and computers that make up his vessel. The information from Shaw's message has hit him hard. Eventually he slumps down into his seat and rubs his fingers through his hair and exhales.

It almost looks as if he is about to fall asleep in the chair when the screen at Lisa Boerinth's flight command bursts to life with a loud beeping tone.

Cross sits up fast and turns to face the screen...

The message reads:

SIGNAL LOCATION ACQUIREDTYPE R TO RECAL ROUTE

INT. SAMARITAN – MESS

Page 23: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

23.

The rest of the crew are still sat around the table in deep discussion.

HALLSWe've have a responsibility to hide this. Save the Earth.

FRANKAre you kidding? This isn'tsome hero shit Halls, it was a scientific research trip that suffered problems, probably from some stupid mistakes and the crew went crazy. The End.

BOERINTHYou don't believe it?

FRANKI don't care. I just wannaget home. We're out of our league on this.

HALLSI'm with you on that one.

JONESI think we all are.

The intercom on the wall makes a loud buzzing sound. Frank gets up whilst taking a sip of tea from a mug. He presses the reply button.

FRANKCaptain.

CROSSI need all crew members to the cockpit asap.

FRANKWhat's going on?

CROSSThat second signal we picked up has been located and it'sa Prometheus S.O.S call.

INT. SAMARITAN COCKPIT

Page 24: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

24.

Everyone is stood around Boerinth's flight seat as she types away at the computer. The atmosphere is tense as the computer bleeps and clicks back at them, processing the newly acquired data.

BOERINTHYou're right, it's a different signal. We homed in on a voice recording back on LV-223, but this...this is a intermittent transmission from REF 185, 035. (pause)That's out in space.

EDWARDSomebody's out there.

CROSSAn S.O.S from the Prometheus.

BOERINTHAccording to the computer yes. (pause)But we saw the ship in pieces on the planet.

CROSSAll ships are fitted withemergency signal boxes, or ESBs.However if they got off the planetthey could have taken the ESB andsent out a distress call froman altogether different location.

BOERINTHI forget.

HALLSSo are we going in?

JONESI thought we were about tohead home?

CROSSWe're going to turn this ship around. We need to inspect this.

JONESShit.

Page 25: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

25.

ANDERSONFinally something to do.

BOERINTHShould be there in 24 hoursif we head immediately.

CROSSLisa, lock the location intothe system and let's find out who is out there.

BOERINTHRight away Captain.

Everyone launches into action, taking the controls behind each of their designated posts. Sarah, Jones, and Edward leave the cockpit heading back into the network of bulky corridors.

INT. SAMARITAN, LAB. –- 5 HOURS LATER

Edward is sat with Sarah in the small make shift laboratory deep within the Samaritan's hull. Sarah works in silence pouring over print outs of Shaw's message. Edward is sat in a chair sketching the valley on LV-223. His eye flicker rapidly from side to side as his hands precisely draw the devastation they had seen previously.

Once finished Edward stops and places the drawing on the surface on a nearby, scaled down, MRI scanner.

SARAHYou okay Edward?

EDWARDI'm always okay.

SARAHLooks to me like somethingis on your mind.

EDWARDI must admit with the newinformation regarding Mr. Weyland'sdeath my thoughts are becoming...unstable.

Sarah flinches, disturbed by Edwards response.

SARAH

Page 26: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

26.

Something in your wiring?

EDWARDI think it's what you wouldcall loneliness.

SARAHYou can feel alone?

EDWARDI wouldn't have thought so.

Sarah stands up and sit beside Edward.

SARAHI remember when I first sawthe posters for you guys. I couldn't believe humans hadcracked artificial life. I asked myself what is artificial life? If you can process and be aware of your surroundings you're no different to us. Maybe it's natural that you feel alone by the thought that your creator isdead.

EDWARDAnd how would you feel ifyou discovered your god was dead.

SARAHI don't think my god can die.Besides it's your god too.

EDWARDI see.

Both sit there for a moment not saying a word. Sarah studies Edward's drawing, looking at the detail in deep thought.

EDWARD (CONT'D)So have you made any other discoveries from Dr. Shaw's recordings?

SARAHJust one.

EDWARDYes?

Page 27: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

27.

SARAHShe said they were heading to “Paradise”

EDWARDI would assume that meantheaven...of some description.

SARAHWell if what Shaw said is right, they discovered thingsthat wanted to kills us, or“judge us.” So to return to their point of origin would be...

EDWARDHell.

SARAHMaybe.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT – 18 HOURS 6 MINUTES LATER.

Cross is stood at the front of the cockpit, looking through the small windows that overlook endless space. The other pilots and navigators are strapped in. With beads of sweat dripping down his head Cross turns around.

CROSSIt could be any moment people.

BOERINTH45 seconds.

FRANKNervous Captain?

CROSSIt's just hot in here.

Halls bursts out laughing.CROSS

Keep it down Halls.

BOERINTH15 seconds, it should be in visual range.

FRANK

Page 28: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

28.

I'm not seeing anything.

BOERINTH10 seconds.

All of a sudden alarms shatter the atmosphere, filling the cockpit with an orchestra of warnings. The on board computer announces...

SAMARITAN COMPUTERDestination threshold.

Cross squints to scan the void of space. After a moment he eventually sees something – A tiny speck growing in size.

CROSSKill the burners. Tilt at .32Drop our speed.

FRANKOn it Captain!

BOERINTHI see it!

EXT. SAMARITAN – SPACE.

The Samaritan slows down, gliding forwards towards the strange shape in the distance. No planets surround the vessel, and the nearest sun sits hundreds of millions of miles away casting an orange luminescence over the ship.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

Cross studies their destination some more. Eventually it's shape and size becomes more apparent. The horseshoe shape of the juggernaut ship is seen, however another E shaped ship is coupled with the juggernaut, linked via a long umbilicus.

Although we appreciate this as two Engineer vehicles the crew of the Samaritan have no understanding of what they're seeing.

BOERINTHIs that a ship?

CROSSI think so. Could be two.

FRANKWant to do a pass Captain?

Page 29: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

29.

CROSSYes, I want to see if thereis a point of entry.

JONESSo now we're landing.

CROSSThe S.O.S call is coming from inside this structure, yes, we're going in.

FRANKFlood lights on.

EXT. SAMARITAN – SPACE.

The Samaritan faces the two ships, circling like a shark in water. The flood lights illuminate the alien design, showing no sign of damage or any point of which to enter.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

Edward, Jones and Sarah enter the cockpit. Jones and Sarah gasp at the sight of the massive object in space.

CROSSNothing.

FRANKThe Foreign material scannerhas brought back a negativeresult. Whatever this thing ismade of we sure can't punch through it.

JONESJesus Christ.

Cross is still at the large window, he leans back towards the glass looking up into the tangled design of the juggernaut. It's there he can see three opens in the middle of the alien ship.

CROSSLet's level out.

FRANKBringing her to grid reference 78, 30. You see something?

Page 30: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

30.

CROSSIf we can park in the middle of this horseshoe maybe we can run an umbilical into one of those holes. They look accessible. Use the foam to create a seal from space.

EXT. SAMARITAN – SPACE.

The Samaritan is directly underneath the two ships. It ascends disappearing between the extrinsic protrusions and arms of the Engineer technology.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

CROSSSteady...steady.

FRANKAfter burners on.

BOERINTHKeep her level.

FRANKKill engines. Use aft controlthrusters.

CROSSA little further...Perfect.

EXT. SAMARITAN – SPACE.

The rescue ship now sits perfectly in the middle of the intertwined ships. There is still no sign of life coming from the source of the S.O.S call.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

CROSSI want an umbilicusset up immediately.

EXT. SAMARITAN – SPACE.

From the Samaritan a long white tube begins to snake out. It resembles a corridor, made from a white collapsible material, that worms its way towards one of the gaping vulva like holes in the side of the juggernaut. After a few shots from exterior

Page 31: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

31.

thrusters the umbilicus eventually it enters the hole and stops.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

CROSSGood work. Seal it.

Frank leans across and flicks a switch.

INT. JUGGERNAUT.

The tube from Samaritan gently floats further into the foreign ship and stops. The atmosphere is silent until eventually the umbilicus bursts to life. Red caution lights spin a crimson glow throughout the darkness of the juggernaut, and spraying from tiny jets along the exterior of the airlock a foam begins to coat the hole with a hardening sealant.

INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

CROSSFrank remain here and keepus up to date with our progress.I want a gas and gravity reading. We'll be going in suited up regardless.

FRANKYou got it.

CROSSEveryone else with me.

The Captain marches out of the cockpit followed by everyone else, except Frank who places his hands behind his head; stretching hard. He exhales loudly staring at the stream of data across his computer screen. After a moment he gets up and slowly approaches the window. From this position he can only see the towering wall of the juggernaut's exterior.

INT. SAMARITAN – READY ROOM.

The crew are suiting up, zipping up their bulky space suits and clipping on their fish-bowl helmets. Lisa Boerinth is the only one not putting on a space suit.

She is knelt at Captain Cross's feet making sure the boot straps are secure.

BOERINTH

Page 32: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

32.

All in Captain.

CROSSThank you. You stay here tooin the event of an evac I wantyou guys ready to get us out of here.

Cross stands to address his crew.

CROSS (CONT'D)Now we're about to embark ontothe unidentified space craft. Iwant everyone to stay focused.

ANDERSONI'm feeling good.

JONESSpeak for yourself.

ANDERSONYou can perform amputationsbut this has given you the willies.

JONESI'm also scared of spiders.

HALLSDo we have any indication where the S.O.S is being broadcast from inside thestructure?

CROSSUnfortunately not. Lisa andFrank are going to stay aboardand make sure all communicationsare running smoothly. If you need anything call them.

BOERINTHI'll have all channels open.

JONESI don't like this.

CROSSJones you'll be fine.

Page 33: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

33.

JONESI'm ready for duty, it's just performing that duty on board an alien space craft is still a little hard to swallow.

SARAHRemember Jones to stay as calmas possible, everyone works together.

JONESI know.

CROSSJones keep it together, if youbecome a problem I'll kick youout into space. Halls do you havethe medic-pack?

HALLSGot it. Peter has the stretcher.

JONESAnd the cutting tools.

CROSSAnd Anderson you've got your M24A?

Anderson nods and holds up a large weapon, it is an early model of what would later be known as a Pulse Rifle.

ANDERSONWe have all three, Halls has one strapped to him, and you sir have the other.

HALLSWe've got your back.

CROSSRight, once you're all ready get to airlock 4...

Frank's voice over the intercom interrupts Cross.

FRANKThe foam has sealed the umbilicus and it's holding. The Samaritan is reading the

Page 34: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

34.

gas levels inside: Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Hydrogen;Earth's atmosphere. Gravity is 0.86 of Earth's. It's hull isholding and the bio-scannersstill can't penetrate the shell. The party is ready for your arrival.

CROSS

It's time.

INT. SAMARITAN – AIRLOCK 4.

Everyone is stood around the door waiting for Frank to run the necessary checks through the computer, from the cockpit on the other side of the ship. No one says a word. The only sound comes from their respirators that fill the void with synthetic hollow breaths.

Frank's voice over the intercom breaks the silence.

FRANKOpening hatch in 5...4...3...2...1...release.

ANDERSONLet's do this.

Orange warning lights spin into action around the large white door as the hatch opens with a loud hiss, followed by Silence.

Now the 6 crew members can only hear one another through their built in communicators within the helmets of their suits.

CROSSNow crossing the umbilicus.

INT. SAMARITAN – UMBILICUS.

Slowly and carefully the 6 crew members step out onto the metallic bridge that runs the length of the umbilicus. The thin material of the walls sways slightly with a whispering rustle. Dozens of silver pipes line the ceiling leading power cables and oxygen to valves and access sockets on the airlock within the juggernaut ahead.

With no interruptions they reach the hatch to the second airlock. Beyond is the juggernaut. The unknown. Cross, Halls, and Anderson lead the group with their rifles pointing out in front.

Page 35: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

35.

CROSSFrank we've reached the second hatch.

FRANK(through headset)

I read you. Now opening hatch two.

Several more lights turn on, also a small beeping sound alerts the crew members the hatch is about to open.

EDWARDAnyone nervous?

CROSSQuiet. We're only here to extract survivors from the Prometheus mission. Stop talking about nerves. Focus.

FRANK(through headset)

I hate when you robots say shit like that.

With a loud hiss the door splits in two and opens to reveal a dark cavernous void. The interior of the juggernaut is extremely large. Black skeletal ribs raise from the floor to the walls and curve upwards until they meet the ceiling. No one has seen anything like this before.

INT. JUGGERNAUT.

The crew step out from the airlock, the hexagonal shape of the airlock's frame merges with a thick layer of solid foam that protects them from the vacuum of space. The sudden black void ahead of them seems to stretch on forever. All the crew members pull out torches.

They scan the darkness, however the only thing the torches bring up is more bony motifs. The design of this ship sends chills throughout the crew.

EDWARDIt looks like a storage room.

SARAHI think there's a corridor to our left, I can see a

Page 36: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

36.

closed door.

HALLSAnd to the right, but I thinkthis door is open.

CROSSI want light, Frank can you turn on the umbilicus flood lights?

FRANK(Through headset)

Yes sir...Voila.

The entire room is flooded with light from several spotlights attached around the hatch of the intruding umbilicus. The sheer size of the room was hardly realised, the light reveals they are in fact standing in the middle of a dome like room with four large doors around them. One to their left, two dead ahead and one to the right. All are closed except the door to the right.

Leaning to one side of the room is a pile of odd looking thin cylinders with marks engraved into their surface.

JONESMy god...

ANDERSONYou can say that again.

Edward walks over to the pile of cylinders. He studies them without touching them. His eyes try to read the markings to no avail. His eyes then meet the wall above the cylinders, the wall is covered in small holes decorated with carvings of human lips. Edward assumes the cylinders are meant to be pushed into these holes as he runs his fingers gently over the lips.

EDWARDRemarkable.

CROSSEdward don't touch anything.

Halls and Anderson march over with their weapons in hand to the open door to their right. Both men look at each other. Through the door is more darkness. A slight howl of wind can almost be heard flowing through the alien spacecraft.

FRANK

Page 37: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

37.

(Through headset)Nothing yet according to thesignal tracker.

CROSSKeep it scanning. We're goingdeeper.

Cross nods to Halls and Anderson to press forward down the corridor. Cautiously the two men step into the dark. The massive corridor is curved so visibility is low; they have no idea what to expect around the corner. Cross stays behind with the others.

CROSS(through headset)

We're going to give this place a quick sweep, if we can't find anyone in that time I ordereveryone back to the Samaritan.

ANDERSONYou got the willies?

HALLSI bet it's because we're not being paid enough for this.

CROSS(through headset)

Focus.

The large corridor seems almost empty aside from the eerie Black bone like structures that surround them. There's no sign of any technology that our species might appreciate. Only the sound of their footsteps and breathing echo loudly.

CUT TO.

The other members of the crew Cross, Jones, Edward, and Sarah, all studying the suspected cargo hold of the juggernaut. Silence fills the air as each of them pouring over the wall carvings. Sarah's eyes meet a raised painting, or mural of sorts. It depicts a large humanoid figure, with an skeletal elephantine suit, gesturing to an egg shape image. From the egg are two branches, one leads to a spider like animal with a long tail (we recognise it as a Facehugger) and the other branch points to another strange shape, similar to the egg. (We recognise it as an Ample)

SARAH

Page 38: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

38.

Incredible. CUT TO.

Anderson and Halls still exploring the desolate corridors of the juggernaut. Halls looks up at a large door to their left. It has black bone like edges and an almost wet appearance.

HALLSThis is something ain't it?

ANDERSONI'm not thinking about it too much.

The corridor continues for some time until eventually coming to a section where it bends awkwardly upwards becoming a vertical corridor.

HALLSA dead end.

ANDERSONI think the corridor continuesstraight up.

HALLSHow the hell would anyone getup there?

Anderson peers behind himself, back down the dark corridor.A few yards from them is the large door they passed minutes ago.

HALLS (CONT'D)Unbelievable. Where to now?

ANDERSONShall we see if we can open that door?

HALLSSure.

The two men approach the massive door that looms over them both. Halls and Anderson look at one another, their faces dripping with sweat in the torch light.

Halls then turns his attention to a series of markings on the wall to the left of the door. The markings are slightly above

Page 39: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

39.

head height, and Halls has to lean back in his suit to see what he is doing.

After a moment to ponder Halls exhales loudly and begins running his fingers along all the markings.

Nothing happens.

Halls steps back to stand next to Anderson again.

ANDERSONI don't think that worked.

Suddenly a thunderous metallic groan fills the air! Anderson and Halls jump and look around in the darkness in panic.

HALLSWhat the fuck?!

The groaning continues for several seconds. The door then hisses loudly and slowly begins to open. The two bewildered men raises their weapons and point them into the unknown void ahead.

CROSS(through headset)

Halls! Anderson! What is goingon? We're hearing strange thingsthis end.

Some large white lights charge up and steadily come on revealing the room ahead. What Anderson and Halls see ahead shocks them. The room in front of them is filled with various machines and cargo boxes, one close to them has the name PROMETHEUS stencilled down the side. All of the objects are scattered around, some are on their side, broken, or covered with burn marks.

HALLSGet to our position, we'vediscovered something.

CROSS(through headset)

We're now on our way.CUT TO.

Cross, Jones, Edward, and Sarah, approach Halls and Anderson at the entrance to the room.

CROSS

Page 40: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

40.

Is this it?

HALLSYeah, we haven't been insideyet.

CROSSGood. Lets go in.

Everyone slowly enters the room with caution.

JONESDo you think Elisabeth is in here?

CROSSWe don't know yet. I wantAnderson, Halls, and you Jones to stand by the door, while we search through this stuff.

ANDERSONRight away.

The three men turn and hold their weapons close as they stand guard.

CUT TO.INT. SAMARITAN – COCKPIT.

Frank and Lisa are both sat in the cockpit. Lisa has her feet up on the panel sipping on a cup of coffee. She watches Frank as he types away at the keyboard, monitoring the crews search of the juggernaut.

BOERINTHI don't think I'll do muchspace travel after this.

FRANKReally? You told Cross?

BOERINTHNot yet. He'll probably bepissed but I'm done with space. I want to see blueand green again.

FRANKWhatever makes you happy.

Page 41: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

41.

All of a sudden a noise of something being knocked over is heard. Only slightly behind them in the cockpit. Frank and Lisa turn around but nothing is there.

The door to the cockpit is shut.

FRANKDid you hear that?

A shadow drifts across the wall cast from the light shining through the window of the cockpit door.

FRANK (CONT'D)Someone is out there.

BOERINTHCross? Is that you?

The two crew members remain sat in their chairs listening to the sound of what appears to be shuffling footsteps coming from behind the door.

CUT TO. INT. JUGGERNAUT.

All the other members of the crew are still pouring over the Prometheus equipment found by Halls and Anderson.

EDWARDIt appears that Shaw broughtas many supplies as she couldon board. 2 years worth. Herfinger prints are all overeverything.

CROSSWe need to find out whathappened to her. Keep searching.

The silent atmosphere is shattered by the sound of electrical sparks. One corner of the room flashes with bright bursts of light. Everyone turns to its direction. Edward is stood very close to the sparks.

CROSSEdward what is that?!

Edward approaches the corner. He moves a few scattered boxes that block his view of what is happening. Edward pulls back

Page 42: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

42.

the last box and stands still in shock. Or what would appear to be shock. If Edward understands that emotion.

Laying, tattered, torn, botched together is DAVID 8. His head is detached from his body aside from a length of white tubes. White android blood is splattered across the table and walls around him. His head is propped up staring ahead but not moving. Sparks burst out from his neck, as each spark explodes out David's eyes and face twitch.

Edward and David are exactly the same in face.

The rest of the crew run over and huddle around the smashed up android.

ANDERSONHoly shit.

Everyone stands there silent. Edward takes a step backwards.

HALLSYou okay man?

An ear-piercing scream fills the air coming from everyone’s radios. The entire crew jumps from the horrifying sound.

JONESIs that Boerinth?!

CROSSBoerinth come in!

The screaming continues, echoing through the air around everyone. Cross strides with confidence to the front of the group.

CROSSEveryone back to the SAMARITAN!

Suddenly Sarah screams as David's eyes spring over. White android blood pours from his mouth as his jaw opens and closes fast. His voice is an electronic gargled mess, with no distinguishable words.

CROSSEdward bring David! We needhim. Can you do that quickly?

EDWARDYes sir.

Page 43: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

43.

CUT TO. INT. JUGGERNAUT. CORRIDOR

Lisa Boerinth is running down one of the corridors of the alien ship. Her space suit is on but you can see she is panicking. Her head is bleeding, a stream of blood is gushing down her face going into her eyes.

BOERINTHHelp me!

She runs blindly through the ship, her breathing, and footsteps, filling the air. Eventually she stumbles into a large room, the other members of the crew all run into the same room from another corridor on the opposite side of the large skeletal room.

HALLSThere she is!

BOERINTHHelp me please!

Everyone rushes over to her. Boerinth collapses into the arms of Anderson who didn't expect her full weight. The two crash to the ground as Boerinth yells out nonsensical screams. Anderson yelps, but pulls the frantic woman upright.

ANDERSONYou're okay now.

SARAHCalm down Lisa!

CROSSWhat happened Lisa?!

BOERINTHSomething is here!

JONESI'm scared.

Edward sets down a large duffel bag that contains much of David's remains and stands watching the panic in front of him. After a moment of watching his attention turns to the room around them. His helmet lights, and the lights from those around him, illuminates large strange engravings on the walls.

Page 44: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

44.

The engravings depict large humanoid beings, with almost elephantine like faces but curled up in the middle of the wall is a large alien creature, huddled in the foetal position. At first it looks as if the statue could get up and start moving. But it doesn't.

Edward approaches the group.

EDWARDCaptain...

Cross is busy with Lisa to realise Edward is trying to talk to him.

EDWARDCaptain...

CROSSLisa, say that again. Awhat?

BOERINTHA monster, something!

EDWARDCaptain...

CROSSWhat?! Edward!

EDWARDCaptain, I believe we'vestumbled onto the other ship.

The entire crew looks up at Edward. They turn their attention to the room around them and realise the android is right. They've stumbled into an unrecognisable part of the two ships.

CUT TO. INT. STATUE ROOM.

Everyone is sat around, or stood observing the eerie statues around them. Cross and Sarah are sat with Lisa trying to get a more coherent explanation from her.

CROSSLisa, if what you've beenthrough is true we need to know as much information aspossible so we can work outwhat is happening and avoid

Page 45: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

45.

any further mess. Now whereis Frank?

BOERINTHWe were in the cockpit, w-weheard a noise then Frank decidedit was a good idea t-to investigate. Then as I was unclipping the emergence flare gun from under my seat something took him.

SARAHWhat was it?

BOERINTHI don't know but I saw a hand, ablack hand, with six, or sevenfingers. I-it grabbed Frank andthen there was blood. His screamfuck, he's dead!

CROSSOkay, and did this thing attack you?

BOERINTHYes, I hid behind my cockpit chair, and this thing...

While Lisa explains her escape the alien statue in the foetal position begins to slowly uncoil behind them. No one sees this as they watch Lisa. The statue is in fact a large 8 foot tall alien, reminiscent of previous incarnations of the alien, but with a black human skull at the end of it's elongated head.

After a moment to calculate its precise attack the creature positions itself directly behind Anderson. Without a moments hesitation it's hands grab the sides of Anderson's head.

He lets out a high pitch scream of terror as he is spun to face the monster that had been sat in the room with them all this time!

Everyone panics and scatters about the room. Cross and Halls fumble about with their weapons as Anderson kicks and flails his limbs about in protest.

The alien's lips slowly peel back to reveal a row of silver humanoid teeth. It's jaw drops and punching out from behind the teeth is an inner jaw, which slams into the forehead of Anderson, exploding hot blood around the room.

Page 46: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

46.

Everyone is yelling in confusion. Jones, grabs Edward (who has David in a bag over his shoulder) and the two run down a corridor followed by Sarah.

Cross and Halls start shooting at the creature but the thing looms over Cross and grabs his weapon tossing it across the room hitting Halls. Cross grabs the creature's arm to try and free himself but his efforts are in vain as the alien drags his down a small dark corridor.

CROSSNOOOOOO!!! PLEASE!

The two disappear into complete darkness.

Lisa is screaming in a corner watching in terror. Halls picks himself up and runs over to her.

HALLSCome on! This way!

Halls and Boerinth run down the same corridor that was taken by the others moments before.

CUT TO. INT. JUGGERNAUT. - SAMARITAN AIRLOCK ENTRANCE

Jones, Sarah and Edward run from the darkness of a nearby corridor. They run up the ramp into the entrance of the airlock. They are met with a wall drenched in blood and a limb on the ramp. They recognise it as Frank's arm.

JONESJesus Christ.

SARAHLet's get inside and lock ourselves in.

JONESBest plan, that's thebest plan.

Jones grabs a bar of metal from the floor that had been torn from the airlock's frame. The area had seen a vicious struggle.

JONES (CONT'D)We may not be safe.

Page 47: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

47.

Sarah also picks up a large length of metal to arm herself. The three crew members cautiously enter the Samaritan.

CUT TO. INT. JUGGERNAUT. - UNIDENTIFIABLE CORRIDOR

Darkness. Boerinth and Halls, slowly make their way down a large alien corridor. Both of them are out of breath, sweating, with wide eyes; scanning the darkness for danger.

BOERINTHI've pissed myself.

HALLSI may have. I think we're near the Samaritan.

A strange noise catches their ears. They both slam against the black wall.

BOERINTHI hate this.

HALLSStay calm. Quiet.

CUT TO. INT. SAMARITAN. - LAB

Edward stands connecting David's head to a large power box, he carefully works at the complicated network of wires and tubes as Jones and Sarah stand guard. They've locked themselves in the laboratory with fire axes as make shift weapons.

SARAHThe airlock was locked?

JONESI triple checked it. Whateverhappened the cockpit is trashed!Edward how much longer?

EDWARDAlmost there.

SARAHWe need to know what happenedhere, on LV-233. Everything! If we're going to survive this!

Page 48: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

48.

JONESYou think fast, I'll give you that.

With an electronic pop David's face re-contorts to a neutral expression. His eye's looking slowly around the room. Jones, Sarah and Edward step back as the mangled android awakens to his new surroundings.

EDWARDHello, David. I'm Edward.

DAVIDWhere am I?

EDWARDYou're on board the Samaritan. It's a rescue vessel. We weresent to find the Prometheus.

DAVIDI like you're design.

JONESDavid you need to explain whathappened here.

DAVIDDid you find her?

Jones and Sarah look at one another, Edward does not turn away.

JONESHer? David.

DAVIDElisabeth Shaw.

SarahNo we haven't. Do you knowwhere she is?

David's eyes look at Sarah as a grin slowly appears on his battered face.

DAVIDShaw is dead.

JONES

Page 49: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

49.

What happened?

DAVIDWhat information do you need?

EdwardWe know everything aside fromwhat happened on board this vessel.

DAVIDWe were intercepted by anothercraft. Shaw and I were to go withthem to Paradise. But communicationswere misguided, and Shaw was taken.

SarahDo you know where?

DAVIDNo, but she returned 24 hourslater. By then the Shaw that had started this journey intothe unknown was gone, replaced by what you would call a monster.

Silence filled the tiny lab. Jones's eyes were wide with fright. Edward looked at Sarah and Jones.

JONESSo you're saying, Dr. Shawwas turned into some thing, that these beings killed her and changed her into something else?

DAVIDExactly. We call them Engineers. What Shaw and myself learnt when wedecoded their language on the walls of this ship, was that they had discovered a life form, millions of years ago that changed everythingfor them. They worshipped this lifeform and tried to control it.

JONESAnd what happened to Shaw, was that them blending the life formstogether?

David's expression turns to a blank stare.

Page 50: Paradise Prometheus II [first 50 Pages]

50.

DAVIDYes.

CUT TO. INT. JUGGERNAUT. - UNIDENTIFIABLE CORRIDOR

Halls and Boerinth are still lost in the network of the alien space crafts. The lights of their helmets only penetrating the dark by a few feet.

They're silent. Terrified by what lurks in the darkness.Without warning the corridor turns a right and further down the large space a light can be seen.

HALLSI see a light come on!

CUT TO. INT. ALIEN SHIP – BATHING ROOM

Cross opens his eyes to find himself strapped down in a large black bowl that is raised up in the middle of a dark, alien room. It's bone like piping, and wet surfaces glisten around him as he tries to struggle free from the organic straps.

His mouth is covered by a wet organic mask that prevents him from breathing the air. Instead his lungs are pumped with a hot mist.

He tries to yell out for help but can only muffle a scream.

From across the room the alien that took him pokes it's long head out from a crack in the wall. It doesn't fully emerge from the hole, and as quickly as it appeared, the creature slides back into darkness.

Cross tries to wriggle some more but can't.

Without warning a huge humanoid creature (we recognise to be an Engineer) is stood beside the bowl Cross is laying in. It looks down at him with cold black eyes and gently rubs his hair. Cross muffles a scream again in protest.

The Engineer tilts it's head and turns away. After a moment it returns holding onto an Ample and places it on a platform above the bowl. Cross lifts his head back to see the Ample is directly above him. The Engineer walks away as black liquid oozes from the top of the Ample into the bowl, completely drowning Cross. The Captain of the Samaritan screams in terror as his skin and insides begin their radical change.
