Background• Someone hid a treasure in a field to protect it
from thieves. • Is was unexpectedly found.• This treasure surpasses the worth of all his
possessions.• The owner of the treasure is not the one who

Who is the treasure? For it was the good pleasure of the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. Col 1:19
(Christ) in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden. Col 2:3
Jesus Christ is the true Treasure; in him there is an abundance of all that which is rich and useful, and will be a portion for us: all fullness.: treasures of wisdom and knowledge, of righteousness, grace, and peace; these are laid up for us in Christ; and, if we have an interest in him, it is all our own.
1. Jesus Christ is outstanding as
unique Savior and Reconciler.
“And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under
heaven, that is given among men, wherein we
must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
2. Jesus Christ is outstanding as
peacemaker between races, tribes and
nations. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon
him. Rom 10:12
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither
slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you
are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28
3. Jesus is outstanding as master, and of
revelation of truth and justice.
“Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not
whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jhon 14:5-6
4. Jesus is outstanding as
unique conqueror over Satan and sin.
And you, who were dead in your trespasses…,
God made alive…, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us... This he set aside, nailing it to
the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over
them in him.
Col 2:13-15
5. Jesus Christ is outstanding because he
is the only one Being that offers resurrection
and eternal life.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest
thou this?
John 11:25-26
For unbelievers
For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what
shall a man give in exchange for his life? Mat 16:26
