Dear Parents & Carers,

It is almost that time of year where we celebrate

all the great achievements of 2016.

Thursday 24th of November

Year 6 Graduation.

Congratulations to Luke M; Lalia B; Jason F;

Ree M; Lachlan B; Adem H and Ray K on

finishing Year 6 and moving into the High School

in 2017.

We know that they are going to enjoy their new

learning environments and activities.

Saturday 26th of November

Para Meadows Open Day 10am-2pm.

Come along and join in the celebrations on the

day, walk through the history of the school meet

up with ex students and staff. Purchase a

commemorative tea towel or cookbook for

$15 and an apron for $20. There will be a

sausage sizzle, memorabilia and tours of the

school on the day.

Wednesday 30th of November

End of Year P & C Disco with sausage

sizzle for all students . Come along in

your favourite festive outfit!

Friday 2nd of December

Volunteers Morning Tea and Band

Performance Assembly

We invite all volunteers, both in classrooms and

the canteen to a morning tea after the band

performance assembly at 9:45am. It is a great

time to catch up with other parents, volunteers

and staff for a relaxing chat.

Wednesday 7th of December

Year 12 Graduation Assembly and

Formal

A special assembly for our Year 12 students and

families to celebrate the student’s achievements

over the past 13 years.

Monday 12th of December

Presentation Assembly

CANTEEN ROSTER

High School 4 and I would like to say thanks for all your support with the lunches over the year. This Wednesday the 23

rd November will be

our last orders for 2016. Money raised this year has gone to both the Year 12 farewell and the Year 6 farewell as well as updating some equipment in the room. I would like to congratulate both the staff and students of High School 4 for making the program run so smoothly and for having some fun along the way. Here’s to 2017 and more food adventures! Wollongong High School visits

Throughout 2016 we have had students from the High school coming over every Tuesday to

participate in sports and games with the students in Years 9 & 10.

It has been wonderful to watch the students

interact with their peers!

You will be most welcome to come along and join in

the fun with lots of social activities! Open to all

school leavers and adults with a disability.

Held at Para Meadows school hall from 7pm-9pm every fortnight on a Wednesday night, $3

to attend. There are drinks and chips to purchase and we also

serve a light supper.
