I used Copic Y11 to color one large flower, the veins of a second large flow- er, and the outer edges of one medium flower. 2. I colored the metal brad. 3. Punch a hole in the cen-ter of two large flowers, one medium flower, and one small flower.

4. Use a dowel rod to curve the petals of one large flow-er downward. If you added color, this would be the sol-id colored flower.

5. Use a dowel rod to curve the tips of the petals on the second large flower downward. If you colored your flower, this would be the flower with the colored veins.

6. Place adhesive around the center hole of the first flower (the solid colored one).

7. Place the second flower on top of the first, pressing them together to set the ad-hesive.

8. Snip the medium flower be-tween two petals through to the center hole. Place adhe-sive on the top of the petal to the right of the cut.

9. Bring the petal on the right over under the petal to the left of the cut. Press the two together to adhere.

10. Using the dowel rod, curl the tips of the petals under.

11. Place adhesive around the center hole of the assembled flower.

12. Place the medium flower on top of the assembled flow-er pressing the pieces to-gether to set the adhesive.

13. Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the small flower.

14. Curl the tips of the pet-als of the small flower. You may want to use a different round tool that is smaller in diameter than the previous dowel rod.

17. If you intend to place your flower on a wire stem, curl a round loop slightly larger than the center hole in the flowers in one end of a floral wire.

18. Place the wire and the brad through the front of the flower through the cen-ter hole. Flatten the brad prongs on the back of the flower.

15. Place adhesive around the center hole of the assembled flower.

16. Place the small flower on top of the assembled flower pressing the pieces together to set the adhesive.

19. (optional) Pierce a hole through the center of a small green flower. Feed the wire stem through the hole and place the green flower against the bottom of the flower. Adhere in place.

20. Gently bend the medi-um and small petals upward against the brad being care-ful to not un-curl the tips.

21/22. When finished, the up-per petals will be slightly upward while the tips curve downward. The lower layers will stand fairly straight out with the tips curving downward.
