The 250m investment made over the last five years in the Beauvais tractor plant, home of Massey Fergusons high range of tractors, has been carried out with a singular aim: to ensure Massey Ferguson tractors are built to standards of quality, reliability and productivity that guarantee peace of mind for the owners and operators who depend on them. More than 870,000 tractors have been built in Beauvais since it was opened in 1960, and farmers in over 140 countries rely on its products.

The 2500 staff employed at the Beauvais site take particular pride in the products they design and manufacture, and while as many as 90 tractors a day leave the line, each one is crafted with the utmost care and attention. That focus on quality is coupled with Massey Fergusons reputation as a leader in developing and offering innovative and pioneering solutions with clear, measurable benefits, such as fuel-saving Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), which we were first to bring to the market. The result is tractors which help you farm more productively and more efficiently.

Continuous research and development into making machines that do more for those that own and operate them has been part of the reason Massey Ferguson has won more independent innovation awards than any other manufacturer. As farmers needs continue to evolve, that R&D commitment remains as strong as ever.

Designed to provide municipal operators of Massey Ferguson MF 5600, MF 6600 and MF 7600 tractors with unprecedented levels of operator comfort, safety and all-round visibility, the Panoramic cab version of the multi award-winning Massey Ferguson Essential cab incorporates state of the art features dedicated to the needs of both agricultural and non-agricultural operations such as verge mowing, hedge trimming and road maintenance.

Key among those features is a 140 wide, one-piece polycarbonate screen to the operators right. This gives a completely unobstructed view of side-mounted implements such as hedgecutter and verge mower heads. In combination with a new left-hand side pillar, this sets new standards in visibility, helping you to maximise the performance of your machine.

The extremely tough, 8mm-thick screen ensures the operator is safe from flying debris, while a special anti-scratch coating and dedicated wash/wipe system provides excellent visibility in all conditions. For local authority and road work operations, fixing brackets and wiring connections are available to facilitate the easy fitment of a roof-mounted tri-flash hazard warning triangle.

All models feature the same Massey Ferguson styling, with a tilting bonnet for easy service access, and this incorporates a steep-nose hood design to further enhance forward visibility on MF 5600 models.

Maximum visibility, uncompromised safetyThe operator has a full, unimpeded view to the right, courtesy of a 140 wide single-piece, 8mm thick polycarbonate and scratch-resistant screen for protection against flying objects such as hedge trimmings. The absence of a right hand side means an uninterrupted view over the working zone of hedgecutters, verge mowers, offset toppers and similar implements, for the utmost in accuracy, and the ultimate in safety. A retractable sunblind and wash-wipe system is fitted as standard on the right hand window.

Perfectly matched to this is the way in which Massey Ferguson engineers have grouped key controls to the operators right, where they can be operated intuitively while full attention is given to the work in hand. Careful thought has been given to ergonomics to bring everything you need for information and operation into its natural position. The same goes for access to the cab, with broad steps and door opening, and to the provision of operating data, with the driver kept updated with performance information at all times.
