Digital.In August 2012, Panda Express installed digital signage from SOAR, a leading LSI solution, in 10 test sites to compare product offerings, service and response time against its competitors. The initial trial was a success, leading to installations in more than 600 Panda Restaurant Group locations.

Panda Express, a well-established and fast-growing Chinese food restaurant concept, is currently known for its more than 1,600 locations nationwide. Owned and operated solely by the Panda Restaurant Group, the company opens approximately 100 new stores per year.

In 2012, Panda Restaurant Group sought out new digital signage solutions providers. As it began its search, the company connected with its current provider for drive-thru experiences, LSI Graphic Solutions, to learn more about SOAR, the digital signage business unit of LSI.

In August 2012, Panda Express installed SOAR digital signage in 10 test sites to compare product offerings, service and response time against its competitors.

The initial trial was a success, leading to installations in more than 200 Panda Restaurant Group locations in December 2012 and an additional 100 sites in August 2014. Today, SOAR digital signage can be found in over 600 sites.
