The Fujitsu Palmpass access control reader is a robust authen�ca�on system that u�lizes vascular pa�ern biometric technology to deliver fast and convenient iden�fica�on. This innova�on offers secure physical and logical access control to customers in factories, data centers, educa�on and other industries with a highly reliable, contactless biometric authen�ca�on solu�on that is non-intrusive and easy to use.

The Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor uses near-infrared light to capture a person’s palm vein pa�ern, genera�ng a unique biometric template that is matched against pre-registered user palm vein pa�erns. The palm vein device can only recognize the pa�erns if the blood is ac�vely flowing within the individual’s veins, which means that forgery is virtually impossible.

This advanced, vascular pa�ern recogni�on technology not only provides highly reliable authen�ca�on with low false accept and reject rates, but also generates fast and easy enrolment.

Compared to fingerprint and other biometric authen�ca�on technologies, the Fujitsu Palmpass Access Control system is a hygienic, contactless solu�on that is highly applicable to all users including children. PalmSecure authen�ca�on is not affected by the presence of hand lo�ons, chemicals, abrasions, skin condi�ons or effects of cold environments.
