Reflections of LifeFor the Late

Samquan Hakeem “Chucko” FrazierAnd God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall

be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying. Neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:4

It’s hard to understand why people are taken from us so young, but today, as a family, we find comfort in knowing that Samquan was a special part of a well-lived life. When God calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Samquan Hakeem Frazier was born on December 27, 2000, to Sammie Lee Frazier, Jr., and Diane Gardner Frazier in Beaufort, South Carolina. He surrendered to the summon of his Creator on Sunday, September 30, 2018, in Jasper County, South Carolina. Samquan was educated in the public school system of Hampton District 2, and he was a senior in the class of 2019. At an early age, he became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford, South Carolina.

Samquan was affectionately called “Chucko” by his family and friends. He lived a spontaneous life with lots of laughter. The love he showed radiated throughout his family and friends. “Chucko” showed love to everyone he came in contact with.

Samquan was preceded in death by: grandmother, Estella Gardner and grandfathers, Robert Lee Forrester and Sammie Lee Frazier, Sr.; aunts, Elouise Robins and Carrie Ann Amaker; uncles, Ernest (Fuzzy), Abe, and James Edward Gardner; God sister, Diane Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: loving parents, Sammie Lee Frazier, Jr. and Diane Frazier; four sisters, Persephine Gardner , Samika Frazier, Dimineike Jefferson (Timothy) and Precious Frazier; five brothers, Charles Frazier, Rockman Gardner (Shaquila), Hiasan Gardner, Stephan Morris, and Nick German; Grandmother, Curlene Frazier, aunts, Carolyn Wright and Mary Ann Fields; uncles, Craig Frazier and Willie James (Toni) Mixson; Godmothers, Christine Washington and Vanessa Amaker; Godfather, Levi Bostick; God sisters, Nikeya (Pamper) Frazier, Jazmeia Amaker, Serena and Nicole Bostick; God brothers, Robert Amaker, Levi Hutchinson, Fredrick and Dexter Bostick; special friends, Amiya Lewis, JaKhari Roberts, Marcez Brantley, and Tyquandre “Dre” Manuel, a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
