AMSP-2/DUSTGUARD

AMSP-2 Panel Filters are designed to fit any standard Cross Draft Booth. They are normally found in the booth doors. AMSP-2 Filters are constructed of two synthetic layers sealed over a metal wire frame. The first layer, dry and white, acts as a préfiltre to remove the medium and large particles. The second layer, green with an adhesive, removes and retains the smaller particles

Progressive Density Panel DustGuard Panels are designed for Cross Draft and Downdraft Booths when higher quality paint is used. In addition, it can be installed in low pressure HVAC systems where a higher level of filtration is required over an AMSP-2 filter. The use of linked panels in side access systems facilitates the change out of the filters.

Construction The DustGuard Filter is constructed of two synthetic media layers. The first layer of white polyester acts as a prefilter. The second stage is a dual density synthetic media with an added adhesive. The DustGuard is non-toxic and non-allergenic. The adhesive prevents the migration of the dust particles and increases its dust holding capacity.

Application

The Excel panel is manufactured of high quality multi-density polyester. Excel panel achieves a rating of MERV 8. The polyester media is sealed around an internal wire and is self sealing. An integrated adhesive on the air leaving side assures no dust migration.

High efficiency synthetic media

The MAXI AIR pleated air filter uses a fully synthetic media with an ASHRAE 52.2 average atmospheric efficiency of 30-35% and a MERV 8 rating. The synthetic polypropylene media is bonded to a metal backing giving its aerodynamic form. The media pack is enclosed and bonded at all points into a heavy duty, moisture resistant, beverage board frame. The MAXI AIR filter is a very popular choice for roof top and stand alone units and is an ideal upgrade from panel filters that tend to face load. These filters are ideal as prefilters to increase the life of a higher efficient final filter. The pleated configuration allows filtration of particles from 3 to 10 microns such as medium airborne pollutants. MAHT

High temperature pleated filter employs a fiber glass media element to withstand temperatures up to 400°F.

Paint Booth - Pocket Filters

Advantages

AIR PAK

Medium and high efficiency pocket filters offer the best filtration for the cost. Individual pockets are assembled into a sturdy galvanized header proving rigid support for the filter. The filter element is a fully synthetic fiber, neither shedding nor affected by humidity. A wide range of sizes are available. Efficiency levels: from 40% to 95%.

Media The synthetic filtering element consists of layered and blended polypropylene melt blown fibers attached to a dense polypropylene backing. Header A ¾” header of 24 gauge galvanized steel provides the strength of the assembled filter. Pockets Edges of each bag as well as internal strips are ultrasonically sealed to form the required spacing that allows uniform loading of dust and particles on the entire filter surface. Individual pockets are linked by an internal support which is assembly into a galvanized metal header. The filter is tested in accordance with the ASHRAE 52.2 fractional efficiency test method. The suggested temperature limit is 200°F. UL/ULC

PaintStop Paint Arrestors protect the spray booth exhaust system, as well as the outside environment, while reducing paint booth operating costs.

MSA-22 fiberglass media is constructed using 22 grams of fiberglass media per square foot. The fibers are formed into progressively denser layers. Fiberglass media is ideal for capturing paint overspray due to its ability to maintain an open outer layer. It is this initial outer layer that allows the entire depth of the media to hold paint particulate and not “surface load” like many overspray collectors. The media is solid yellow and has white backing on the downstream side. Fiberglass media is ideal for shipping, the media has 100% memory when compressed, therefore the rolls are tightly wound and when unrolled to use in your booth, the filter regains its 2½” loft. MSA-22 fiberglass media comes in roll form of 300 foot lengths and various widths to accommodate most paint booths. If your downdraft booth uses a pit, measure the width of the pit to find the appropriate roll, or check our booth guide. To change the media, simply unwind the roll to the proper length and cut.
