Terry Haas - Keynote Speaker Most people know Terry for her long running role on HGTV’s hit show Designed to Sell. As one of the show’s

featured real estate agents, Terry guided millions of viewers on how staging a home and making low cost improvements can help to sell a property at top dollar. With over 20 years in the industry, Terry’s knowledge of the real estate market and various clientele on a local and national level has brought her recognition in the real estate community as a national expert, respected colleague and keynote

speaker for various industry communities. She is well known for her networking and creative business techniques to make a project successful. Now living in Charleston, SC with her husband Tim and two

young sons, Terry has her own real estate sales and home-staging consulting businesses, www.riverlandingteam.com and www.TerryHaas.com. She o�ers clients insight into the ways they can transform

Rebecca Ryan CollettGrowing up in Summerville, reporting the news in Charleston has been Rebecca’s dream since she was a little

girl. She got her start at Dubose Middle School anchoring the morning school news at 12-years-old. Since joining WCBD-TV News 2 in 2009, Rebecca has covered every shift, including three years on the morning news. She was named weekend anchor in October 2014. Since then she's taken on the role leading the team's

investigations unit. Rebecca believes news is three things: something you can use; something you should know; and something you’ll be talking about. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family,

which will include a second son in May.

Nicolle E. Ingui DaviesNicolle Davies serves as the executive director for the Charleston County Public Library, currently serving the residents

of Charleston County with 250 employees, 16 locations and a bookmobile. Prior to joining CCPL, Nicolle served as the executive director for Arapahoe Libraries, a public library system serving the residents of Arapahoe County, Colorado. Before her work in public libraries, Nicolle served as vice president of Galloway Group, a public relations/community relations �rm in Denver, Colorado. Nicolle began her career in television in New York as a production assistant on

Sunrise and the Today Show. Nicolle also worked as a news producer for KUSA (Denver) and WTSP (Tampa) television stations. Nicolle holds a master’s of library and information science degree from the University of Wisconsin. She also

holds a master’s degree in public administration and bachelor of science in journalism from the University of Colorado. Nicolle is married to Josh and they have three wonderful kids, Ryder, Izzy and Ainsley.

Barbara NwokikeGullah Parties by Barbara has been planning events for the last seven years. The company is a certi�ed member of the City of

Charleston Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Program. A full events planning, catering and entertainment company, its executive chef prepares custom southern cuisine dishes. Locally sourced organic foods are purchased when in season. Barbara is an organized and detail-oriented event planner with over seven years of experience in planning and executing events. Thirty-three years of engineering background gives solid experience managing complex projects. The

company is excited to help our environment by using eco-friendly disposables at all events. Plates and forks are 100 percent natural, made out of palm leafs and organic bamboo, which are highly renewable resources that are both biodegradable and

compostable. The light brown �nish matches the sweet grass decorations perfectly, embracing the Gullah culture. Some of the company’s very satis�ed clients include the City of Charleston, MUSC, Boeing, Charleston County School District and various private parties.

Nancy SimpsonDr. Nancy Simpson is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychology instructor at Trident Technical College who enjoys teaching abnormal psychology and public speaking. She delivered a TEDx talk to a standing ovation on the need to destigmatize mental illness. A tireless advocate for mental health, she believes it’s important to start the conversation. Nancy lives with her husband

and two college-aged children on a hobby farm outside of Charleston where she milks goats, makes cheese, gathers honey, spins and weaves. With great honesty and humor, Nancy will outline the myths of mental illness.
