• We are working with dashes, apostrophes, parentheses, hyphens, and quotation marks.
Hyphen
• 1. Whenever my friend has a personal problem, he just buys another self help book.
• Hint: all phrases that start with self need a hyphen.
• Self-reliant, self-sufficient, self-denial

Quotation Marks
• Quotation marks are used around words that are directly quoted, either by someone who has spoken them or if they are quoted from a source.

• The directly quoted words need to have quotation marks around them.
