CALENDAR OF EVENTS 12/20 7:30 PM St. Vincent de Paul Meeting (Holy

Name Room)

FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

GOD IS WITH US, AND WE ARE CALLED TO LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE AND TAKE THAT JOY OUT INTO THE WORLD.

God promised to send a Savior to the world, and Jesus came among us. In return, we are called to serve Christ and proclaim him to all. This is easily overlooked as we get caught up in our own pride, or focus on worldly matters. As we look to the Nativity of the Lord, let us shake off distractions and strive to serve Jesus and share him with others.

The time came for her to have her child and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. - Lk 2:6b-7

The Christmas season is a time of joy, visiting family and friends, sharing meals, laughter and excitement. As we celebrate Christmas, may your Christmas Day find you most thankful for the birth of the Christ Child. On behalf of our staff, volunteers, and myself, we would like to wish each and every one of you and your families a “Very Happy and Blessed Christmas.” May all the blessings of the Christ Child be yours this Christmas and may His divine presence enrich your life throughout the New Year.
