This is a clear, reinforced, polyurethane hose designed for certain applications where standard PVC/Vinyl will not stand up - such as in portable tool fuel lines. The ether based compound is also ideal for transferring granular or abrasive materials that would be damaging to PVC. It provides more kink resistance, larger ID’s, and higher pressures as opposed to “unreinforced” polyurethane tubing. Polyair/Water is a rubberized thermoplastic (PVC) hose made from high quality materials that make this hose look and feel like a rubber hose. It is typically lower in cost and lighter in weight than rubber hose, but is not suitable for the same range of temperatures or highly abusive environments. We offer this hose in red (NL1405) and blue (NL1406). The red is commonly used with nailers or as a shop air tool hose, while the blue is commonly used as a high quality, attractive garden hose (not food grade). Polyair can also be used for lubricating oils or low pressure agricultural chemical spray. It is lightweight, non-marking, and resistant to regular abrasion, oil (Class B), weathering, and ozone. Nu-Flex is a multi-purpose, high quality ‘Ether’ based polyurethane hose that was introduced in the early 2000’s to provide users with a more abrasion re-sistant, lightweight air hose compared to PVC or rubber - it also didn’t stiffen in cold environments and could be wiped down easily. In the last few years more soft, cost competitive, hybrid polymers (like our Serpent Air Hose) have become more popular, however there are some users that still prefer our Nu-Flex. It has excellent resistance to very cold weather, oil (RMA Class A), punctures & abrasion - much greater than traditional rubber, PVC, or lower cost ‘Ester’ based polyu-rethane hoses (Ester based is also not recommended for humid environments or moist air, whereas Ether is suitable). Nu-Flex is also kink resistant, can be wiped down easily, and very light in weight which allows it to be easily dragged as compared to traditional rubber or PVC hoses.Temperature Range: -400C (-400F) to +750C (1670F)Construction: Tube: Clear, ether-based polyurethane. In recent years there have been lower cost “arctic” hoses that have entered the global market so our NL3280 Arctic Multi-Purpose offers a lower cost option for use in applications not requiring ULC listing or for less frequent/demanding arctic applications where traditional hoses may be seen as cost prohibitive. Al-though this NL3280 is at a lower price point, over the years we have found our Goodyear NL3109/NL3265/NL3270/NL3275 hoses have been the most widely used hoses or preferred choice amongst aggressive users or those who prefer a brand name product with a proven track record. If you are tired of tangled self coiling hoses that no longer retract, then this hose may be your solution. Polyurethane self coiling air hose is suitable for shop air, water, lubricating oils, and many chemicals (not for air brakes). It is commonly seen in service stations, paint shops, maintenance shops, dispensing units, cleaning racks, etc. It is also used as a retractable water spray hose in nurseries, greenhouses, or in marinas (not food grade). This compact, resilient hose will outlast and outperform conventional nylon self coiling. It is easier to work with and will bounce back into its original shape when kinked or crushed. It is a non-marking, oil (RMA Class A) and abrasion resistant hose that is highlyrecommended. The working length is approximately 80% of actual length and all assemblies come with heat shrink scuff guards. We prefer to carry the “ether-based” polyurethane over the more economical “ester-based” as the ether has better memory/retractibility, low temperature fl exibility, and it will not absorb moisture. Each coil is packaged individually for retail display and other colours are available upon request (min 10 pcs per part #). If you are tired of wearing out and replacing expensive heavy duty yellow air hoses, Gorilla could be your solution. Gorilla is a premium, hi-visibility yellow multi-purpose hose used in factories, construction, agriculture, quarries, mines, railroads, oil/gas industry, and ship building. Its exceptionally tough, MSHA approved cover will resist heavy amounts of oil and abrasion, while its tube resists heat, excessive petroleum based oil as well as vegetable oil and mineral oil (typically breaks down more economical rubbers). Due to its textile rein-forcement, Gorilla is 30-40% lighter in weight as compared to heavy duty, steel wire reinforced yellow air hoses. Push-on is a textile reinforced hose designed for low pressure hydraulic and pneu-matic systems, such as robotics, shop air systems, and automotive applications. It has an oil resistant tube which will handle air, water, lubricating oils, antifreeze, and mild resistance to gasoline (typically not recommended for gasoline). The standard colour is NL505 Black, but we also offer NL506 Grey, NL507 Yellow, NL508 Red, and NL509 Blue for coding purposes. Our NL515 Black push-on is made of higher grade rubber compounds as compared to standard push-on hoses seen on the market and is MSHA approved for mining applications, as is NL506 and NL509 Series. Reinforcement: Spiralled synthetic yarn (specially angled for push-on fi ttings).Typical Fittings: Brass or stainless “Push-On fi ttings” which are specifi cally designed for use on “Push-On” hoses up to 300 psi (do not use on any other type of hose). When used with Push-On hose, the defi ned barb on the fi tting and the special hose reinforcement will provide suffi cient grip thereby eliminating the need for any hose clamps.
