DISMISSAL The disposition of a May 2010 case, wherein Gary Elliott Smith was accused of second-degree inten- tional damage to property, was not published in the Press & Dakotan. In October, the Yankton County State’s Attorney Office dismissed the charge. POUND COUNT Several animals are available at the Yankton Animal Shelter. ARRESTS • Shery Budihas, 49, Mission Hill, was arrested Friday for driving on the wrong side, maintenance of financial responsibility and driving with a revoked, suspended or can- celed license. • James Conway, 51, Yankton, was arrested Friday for driving under the influence (second), pos- session of marijuana and property hit-and-run. • Corey Gauker, 39, Yankton, was arrested Friday for simple assault. • Adrian Smith, 21, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a court hold. • Mitchell Sage, 23, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for failure to pay a fine on two counts of theft by insufficient funds check. • Spencer Brown, 42, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for driving with a revoked, suspended or can- celed license; and on a warrant for failure to pay a fine for failure to maintain financial responsibility and having no driver’s license. • Jennifer Wechsler, 33, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence. • Tina Gratzfeld, 23, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for simple assault. • Holly German, 26, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on two war- rants for failure to appear. • Jacob Brandt, 20, Yankton, was arrested Monday for simple assault and aggravated assault. • A 17-year-old Yankton female was arrested Sunday for the pur- chase, possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor. • A 17-year-old Yankton female was arrested Sunday for the pur- chase, possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor and for pos- session of a controlled substance. ACCIDENTS • A report was received at 8:44 p.m. Monday that an unknown vehi- cle collided with a vehicle in the 2600 block of Broadway. Estimated value of the damage was $800. • A sheriff’s office report was received at 11:35 p.m. Friday that a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban driven by a Yankton woman collided with a deer on Highway 50 near 432nd Ave. Estimated value of the damage to the vehicle was $750. • A sheriff’s office report was received at 11:52 p.m. Friday that a 2009 Chevrolet HHR driven by a Texas woman collided with a rac- coon on Highway 50 near 432nd Ave. Estimated value of the damage to the vehicle was $2,200. INCIDENTS • A sheriff’s office report was received at 5:02 p.m. Friday that a juvenile was bitten by a dog at a res- idence along Highway 81. The dog is under observation. • A sheriff’s office report was received at 12:12 p.m. Saturday that a mail box had been vandalized along Highway 314.
