I am married toMaureen Irwin since April 4th, 1964. We have 5 children: Me-lissa, Velecia, Sonny, Lee and Chris. We also have 13 grand-children.

My work ethic comes from mother and dad who taught us towork hard and to support one another at all times. I spent 2years in the U.s. Army, stationed in Germany during the ColdWar. The Russian troops were across the ling in Czechoslo-vakia.

I have been a Democrat all my life. I am still a member ofPipefitters Local 211. My present occupation is plumber. I amself-employed at A-1 Plumbing. I have always liked politics. In1953, the American Legion Post in Danbury sent me to BoysState in Austin, Texas. Before I started pipe fitting I was on thepolice force in Houston, Texas. Then I worked as sheriff’sdeputy for Brazoria County

I am running for county judge of Brazoria County because Ialong with all the citizens of this county need to stand up forour young and our seniors. I believe in “We the People.” I be-lieve in common sense in government. I believe that if we don’tagree with the laws of taxation, we need to stand up againstthem. This includes taxes without representation.
