MUST READ Open enrollment underway Open enrollment for benefits is now available through midnight, Sunday, Nov. 9. All employees should have received their open enrollment benefitsinformation in the mail. Information also is available on Inflow. This is the one time during the year you can make changes to the following benefits:
z Medical insurance z Dental insurance z Vision care z Life insurance z Accidental death and dismemberment z Short-term disability z Flexible spending — Using pre-tax dollars for health and dependent care — you must re-elect this every year.

z If you do not select any new benefit elections, your coverage will remain the same. z Enrollment in Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care FSA or Dependent Child Care FSA) requires new election each year. z You can save $10/month on health insurance by taking the Cigna health assessment and entering your biometric screening number. Harvest Festival this week Human Resources and the Wellness committee invite all employees to the 2014 Harvest Festival. The event is a chance to meet with all benefit providers and Denver Water employee groups. Many vendors offer free gifts to attendees. This also is a chance to ask questions about open enrolland the health assessment discount. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Administration Building atrium with foodfun for everyone. Broncos tickets giveaway during Harvest Festival This year’s Harvest Festival is not only a great chance to learn about wellness programs at Denver Water; it’s also a way to increase your odds of winning free Broncos tickets. All employees will be entered in a random drawing to win two free tickets to the Broncos vs. Raiders game on Dec. 28Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Employees who attend the Harvest Festival will receive an additional entry in the drawing. The Wellness commialso will give away two Fit Bit wristbands during the festival. Google Chrome install tonight IT has received many Help Desk requests from employees indicating they are unable to use certain internet sites because of a browser incompatibBecause of this, IT will install Google Chrome to all desktops tonight, Oct. 28. In general, Chrome should be used for accessing external websites while Internet Explorer 8 continues as our standard for accessing internal DenvWater applications. Many of Denver Water’s vendor supplied applications do not work with any other browser except for Internet Explorer 8, which why Denver Water has been unable to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. IT continues to work with these vendors on application upgrades. Call the Help Desk at ext. 6272 if you have any questions. Halloween costume contest
The 2014 DWEA Halloween costume contest is set for Thursday, Oct. 30 (during the Harvest Festival) in the Administration Building atrium. All participants must have their pictures taken from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Contact Stuart Wenkheimer at ext. 6202 to have your picture taken after 9:30 a.m. Off-site employees can send photos to Pat WilliaPrizes will be given to the top three groups or individual.

To complete thassessment, you must submit the following information from a biometric screening and complete it by midnight, Nov. 9:
• Height • Weight • Waist circumference • Blood pressure • Total cholesterol • HDL cholesterol
You can get this information from a free biometric screening at the Employee Health Clinic. Contact the clinic at ext. 6868 to schedule an appointm 401(k) and 457 plan new limits for 2015 The 401(k) and 457 plan contribution limit for 2015 is $18,000 for elective deferrals and $6,000 for catch-up contributions. These limits apply for bo401(k) and 457 plans and are effective with the Jan. 15, 2015, paycheck. Understanding your 401(k) and 457 plan fees The Retirement Program Committee is committed to ensuring that all Denver Water 401(k) and 457(b) Plan participants receive the finest level of service at reasonable costs. A new document has been added to Inflow to help you better understand the major components of your 401(k) and 45plan fees (administrative, investment and advisory). Retirement information drop-ins A Great-West representative will be available for drop-in meetings on the following dates to evaluate and set up 401(k) and 457 retirement plans:
