Klinkenberg paddle mixers are very popular for processing DDGS (distillers dried grains with solubles) and DGS (distillers’ grains and solubles). The solubles are reduced by evaporation to a syrup and mixed with 30% dry matter. By combining the dried grain and solubles, you get DGS, which is dried in a ring dryer or flash dryer to producer DDGS. This process is used to produce starch, glucose and bioethanol. The gluten separated in the process is used in many animal feeds. Options: The paddle mixers are available in many types and sizes. They can be made in stainless steel or other materials, including wear-resistant materials. Can be supplied with ATEX certification. Application: Many industries use Klinkenberg breakers. Examples are the foodstuffs, chemical, pharmacy, animal feed, and sludge processing industries.
