The PacStar 400-Series includes routing, switching, advanced network services and more – in lightweight packaging designed with a wide variety of power options. PacStar offers a wide array of system packaging and transport options for the PacStar 400-series, including Pelican Case, Mini-Transit Case, Smart Chassis, Desktop Chassis and Rack Mount systems. PacStar Pelican™ Case SystemsPacStar Pelican Case systems provide rapid deployment options for PacStar 400-series modules in the smallest possible footprint. Utilizing the PacStar 400-series snap-together feature, modules are removed from the case and constructed into an operating system.

PacStar offers a range family of laser cut foam Pelican case systems holding three to six modules, with the following options:

• Pockets for radio batteries, cables and AC power bricks• Multi-use pockets fit PacStar 400-series modules and KG-250X

encryptors PacStar Smart ChassisSmart Chassis provide a mechanical and electrical standalone capability to house four or five PacStar 400-series modules; and may be utilized a in a larger system.

• Holds up to (3) PacStar 400-Series modules of any type• Includes integrated 100W AC power supply suitable to

• Includes wide-range DC input 10-36 VDC• Includes 2x PRC-152/148 battery connectors for operation

off prime power

Rack Mount SystemsPacStar offers multiple 19” rack mount options for vehicle mount, tent and fixed-location installations. These systems enable the PacStar 400-series modules to quickly transition from a deployable configuration to a more permanent installation, and back again.

Options include:• 4U 19” Rack Mount Frame (RMF), supporting up to (9) PacStar

400-series modules, in Smart Chassis• 1U 19” rack mount shelves, supporting up to (3) modules• (4) and (5) module vertical mount Smart Chassis
